The refereeing today

Recommended Posts

I usually don't get involved in refereeing debates but today I was at the game sober and with for a change a cracking view, one of the worst displays of officiating I have ever seen, in any sport, utterly embarrassing.

100% mate.

Utterly mind boggling.

I could list countless wrong decisions, but Halliday on Bassey was genuinely unbelievable.

I don't get it, I will never say they cheat against us, but I genuinely cannot understand Collum today.

Them on VAR is going to be a disaster.

You would need to have an independent VARister or those looking in will just see what the refs see.

The whole of the sfa is corrupt from top to bottom, they couldn't kill us off but they're trying their damnedest to stop us winning the league or cups.

That was the only time he actually done us a favour. He could easily have given Diallo a second yellow at that moment. Going by Collum's performance up until then I was actually surprised he didn't.

The problem is this is where VAR doesn’t intervene. The constant fouling against us or the blatant free kicks we don’t get that changes the course of a game still happen.

An utter embarrassment today

Agree with a lot of that but I also think with VAR we get a penalty for the shirt pull on Aribo and don't have to play the extra time.
