Gaining a bit of muscle to help fend off players will obviously help but that type of muscle building shown here rarely does anything and certainly won’t help a player break into a side that already wasn’t on the fringes of doing so. You can be the most psychically ready player on the planet but if you can't trap a bag of cement or pass wind you are no good to any team. Where was this guy when Devine, who's a beanpole, was getting minutes? Wee Lowry too, nothing to him physically but technically one of our outstanding prospects of the last few years.
