Staff are good at bulking the boys up.

What good is that exactly? Katic was the same and basically never seen him again.

Being built doesn’t make someone good at football, in fact it arguably makes them slower

They’ve turned him from a wee boy into an athlete. Can only be a good thing. He looked a tidy player, albeit it was only against Annan, but was clearly not psychically ready. He looks it now.

Well they did it was Glen Kamara and Scott Wright too as obvious examples, which improved both. Bit @esquire8 to be complaining about it.

Looks increasingly like we are either banking on a big player sale or CL qualification before we do anything serious . Leaving it far too late and potentially risking the whole season

For those saying it’s fine be because our squad is still strong it’s the same squad that shipped countless points to dross last season

It didn’t improve either of those players on a footballing level.

Gaining a bit of muscle to help fend off players will obviously help but that type of muscle building shown here rarely does anything and certainly won’t help a player break into a side that already wasn’t on the fringes of doing so.

Utter nonsense.

You think his muscle mass was holding him back?

You can be the most psychically ready player on the planet but if you can't trap a bag of cement or pass wind you are no good to any team. Where was this guy when Devine, who's a beanpole, was getting minutes? Wee Lowry too, nothing to him physically but technically one of our outstanding prospects of the last few years. Being built like a jockeys whip isn't holding him back. 👍
