Popular Post Broxi 12,205
A full on crumble would be lovely please. As much as going to the wire and winning it would be great I'll happily take a storming lead now Although we are maybe getting ahead of ourselves here. We still have a game to win just to draw level, then it's an even race from there on out. Old Firms will be huge, we have to win at Ibrox. superallysbears 8,211
By the looks of the season so far they'll drop more points to the rest than we will so winning the next old firm at Ibrox should see us in a very good place for the run in. At this rate he will be lucky if the mhob have not lynched him by March. If we can just get above them, even by a point there is a very good chance that they will implode completely under the pressure from the hordes. graeme_4, Bobby Hume, JackAlex93 and 1 other

Think that is the key sentence in all this. For years, outwith the 55 season and possible for first few months of the following season, it felt like teams thought they were beaten in the tunnel against that mob but fancied they could nick something against us - that is changing now and while I doubt anyone is going into a game against us fully resigned to defeat yet, they must surely be looking at their form this season and think “there is a chance here if we stick to our game plan and play well”. Assuming we can take care of the game in hand against Ross County they have dropped 6 points more than us against the rest of the league (or 10 points more since Clement has arrived). They will not admit it but I think the panic is not so much because there is a title race on but because when we sacked Beale they thought we were in a mess and the league was pretty much done - 3 months later (and with an OF victory to boost their advantage) and they have thrown away their lead and are dropping points in an pretty consistent manner while we are looking pretty relentless.
