Who was the last tarrier overlord to be given a non-rolling contract?

Rodgers when he renewed.

They usually start with rolling contracts then if they do well occasionally give them longer ones.

This would be the first time I can remember as far back as O'Neil that they hired a new manager on a non-rolling contract, but given he's been there before I guess it;s different.

Fair enough. Slightest sniff of an EPL job and he'll be gone, especially if hes struggling. Says it all no EPL club wanted him.

The fans turned on him and may do fairly quickly again.

His 2 lead coaches don’t want to be there and have been stopped from following the Great Flange

He had a toxic relationship with his Chairman previously and he wasn’t the Chairman’s first choice.

What could go wrong…..

Not concerned in the slightest. Think Beale will have him sussed from the get go.

Absolutely.

We need to sort our attacking threat, hit the ground running and put him under pressure from Day One.

After the run they’ve enjoyed recently, a strong Rangers will have them praying for divine intervention…

If Postecoglou lost the first OF then it would have been fine for them, Rodgers loses it and the knives will be out.

He did and Tbf they called for him to be gone after his first 6 games

Not even against us but any dropped points early doors from Rodgers next season will have the hordes getting restless

consistency against the rest of the dross in this league is vital next season and then we let the old firm games take care of themselves

we do this right and we could have a meltdown from the chamber of secrets that would even dwarf the ten disappearing in front of their very eyes

They have become so entitled that winning consistently won’t be enough. In their deluded minds they should be hammering teams whilst playing an out of this world brand of football……

I think it will get to him mate, last time he had no real challenge until we picked up. This time he’s got a challenge from day 1. A couple of bad results and the sharks will be out again.

Let's see how our own team will look first before deciding we'll be challenging from day 1.

2 league seasons in a row and 4 out of the last 5 have been complete disappointments.

Of course we’ll be challenging, look at last season since Beale came in. There was a vast improvement in our performances.
