Calgereh 1
And your big star player would not do as asked. Would you let him play on and do whatever he wants? Or would you make a stand and bench him for one game and maybe he would wake up and smell the coffee. I know what i would do.

Calgereh 1
I dont know. It would depend on how it actually is. Does this guy win every game for you? Will you fall apart without him? Theres so many different factors. He doesn't win every game for you and if he did I would still drop him for one game to pass on a message. Let's see if BF is a Rangers man and wants to win his place back. That's all PLG is asking for. IMO
evenstevens 938
There remains the niggling doubt in my mind that this is the way PLG knows he can get out of Ibrox with the least damage done to his reputation. If that conspiracy theory turns out to be rubbish he is a very brave man with the courage of his convictions. What worries me more is the players who are left in that dressing room - are they united or split? Are they behind PLG? If not, who is next? Boyd?sad sad timesevens

If PLG was only doing this for one game then his answer to the question of Barry ever playing for us again wouldn't be, "eet eez hard to say". And his answer to the question of him being put on the transfer list certainly wouldn't be, "I am not sure at this time". That sounds like a man who is desperate to completelty rid himself of his former captain abd i for one am not convinced by anything this man says. To me he is looking for a respond from BF, that he wants to be part of the club. He's left it up to BF to decide. Give him a day or two to get over it and I'm sure BF will realise what's best for the team and return and do what's best for Rangers. That's what PLG wants. Heads have to cool down and realise what's best for the team, and that is definitely not BF and KB leaving. They have to have some respect for the fans that support them as well, and very few here want to see them leave because of stupid outbursts that perhaps should've been kept in check. Bite the bullet lads and stay. PLEASE.

nvager 498
Any good manager would NEVER have let it get to this point. It would have been discussed IN HOUSE and resolved IN HOUSE.This is BAD management IMO.If KB is next to go - will this again be PLG just properly managing? This is farcical and it should NEVER have gotten out of hand. Two people with over-inflated egos IMO. papaguy51 941
All great players have flaws:Maradona was into the drugs.Gazza was into the drink.Cantona was off his head.Barry won't listen to a prat of a manager.Oh well..
