Badger 9,096
He has been a fantastic player for us over 2 spells, and one of footballs good guys - look up model pro and you'll see a picture of Steven Davis. Just having a guy like Davis around the training pitch cannot be a bad thing. A guy who I struggle to think of anything negative off the field ever happening - and rarely on it. You cannot play in midfield and have a career like his, churning out 40-50 games a season for most of his career, unless you are living the right life and are doing things right. If it's the ACL as rumoured, well.... it is a hard enough injury to come back from for a man 10yrs younger. Sadly, it will almost definitely be over as a player at Rangers and you have to question if that's it for his playing career too. For a guy that has went his whole career hardly ever being injured much beyond the odd knock and niggle, it is undoubtedly a cruel way to possibly end to his playing days. NI 930
Devastated to see him end like this, it should've been better for a great servant to our great club. Legend in my heart, I hope he'll stay around, he done so much for us in his career. Love you Steven. plymouthranger and Bearsden bear
RoboBearToo 403
Done a great job for us over the years. Some years better others, obviously. I still feel he has something to offer to football. Either as a player or a coach. Hope he finds his next role when he recovers

AdzKyle 8,597
Hate to see a plater leave under these circumstances, especially after all he has done over the years. However the fact Beale has come out and said he has the legs of a 27 year old and will likely get a new player/coach deal is just . He has done his time and should never be given a player contract. Happy for us to have him on the coaching team. plymouthranger and docspiderman

Happy for us to have him on the coaching team. He should not play for us again, legs like a 27 year old pulling an oil tanker even coming on as a sub. He should have gone last season and saved our memory of him as what he was. AdzKyle and Ambrogio
