Popular Post MacBoyd 4,982
He is bottom of shots per game in the spl. The league is gone, why play him, give mccrorie a chance or sign a fucking number 1. Obviously the jap diver he couldn't do anything about but the first goal he's way down the list of offender's but a good goalie saves that. 2 shots on target for the peados 2 goals, is anyone surprised? Johnstone Burgh 1,607
He’s been like this consistently for almost a year now. Continuing to play him is madness. REM 1690, ItaliaSyksey, HG5 and 1 other

Jamie0202 11,121
It's definitely a position that needs addressed but every man and their dog knows this including people at the club. I was actually thinking during the game that McGregor wouldn't have saved Kent's shot halfway through the first half and it was hardly struck with a lot of power and wasn't right in the corner. Popular Post Bakbear 3,494
Beale would do well to make some big calls and send out a message that he has the balls to do what is right for the club Retiring McGregor, Dropping Tav, moving Morelos on ASAP would be just the start Sands should be sent back to his parent club, Lowry and McCann played more regularly…. aw man the list is endless bluenose48, Brackley Bluenose, ItaliaSyksey and 10 others

BlueKnight87 16,900
In the situation everyone could see coming last summer. McLaughlin not good enough to be no 1 and having to fall back onto mcgregor. We do need a new no 1 but it's not happening until the summer. Beale has already backed both keepers. HG5

Or should we be buying a first 11 CM instead? Lowry might go on to be a proper player for us, but McCann won’t. Neither have impressed this season. Yeh listening to his press conference yesterday. He mentioned he had players he wanted-but some wouldn’t be available till Summer. I think (hoping) he has a first choice in mind but it’s a player who isn’t available till Summer. And then the best thing to quell any noise till then is just publicly back what we have. centenarystandman 20
Can understand McLaughlin not being played yesterday after what happened the last old firm game ,time has come though to let him make the jersey his own no point in continuing with keeper Alans age . ayrshireranger and GA1972
Madina 3,400
I've said numerous times that McGregor was done 2 years ago. Still think it's a riddy how he came on for the last few mins of the SC final as his big "farewell" 🙄 McLaughlin found his level at the likes of Hearts and Sunderland. McCrorie seems content enough to be picking up a wage and playing 0 mins in over a year. Nothing will change until the summer at the earliest graeme_4

Nothing will change until the summer at the earliest While I haven’t seen a huge amount of McCrorie, there’s nothing tangible to suggest that we’ll be worse with him in goals. Therefore, it makes sense to give him a run in the team to see if he’s up to the task. Madina, graeme_4 and ForeverAndEver

McGregor has the worst shots to goals ratio in the league.

BlueboyG 4,702
The one thing that stands out against McGregor is his refusal to come for crosses and sometimes balls into the box where he let's the defender take the ball instead of coming out and taking the ball and keeping it in our possession, he'd rather a defender go for it even if being closed down. Should have went last year when he took the plaudits at hampden. No idea why I keep getting a big gap after typing HG5

He’s done that his entire career. He was never going to suddenly turn into a commanding keeper in his late 30’s. LaaRFC 4,111
I agree his time is done but I rekon it’s unfair to level criticism at him for the opener yesterday. The player is running through 1 on 1 with plenty of time to decide where he’s putting it. Don’t think there’s much more McGregor could have done in that situation, he gets out, spreads himself (does get something on it) but it’s slipped under him. Never commands his area stays on the line at corners with no men on the posts, too slow and stiff now has been a good keeper for years but those years are long gone, Give McCrorie the no.1 and btw what does Colin Stewart do ? Meant to be keeper coach, that needs looking at. BlueboyG
