RangersMedia 35,960
Came across a random derby in Morocco recently which has some absolutely mental videos of the fans in the stands, share the good non-Rangers ones you come across in here: ^^ the River Plate one is quite possibly my favourite non-Rangers fan video ever, probably because of the guy in the glasses you can see ger4life_1872, falkirkNS and Essandoh

.Williamson. 78,095
I find a lot of the pyro/tifo stuff absolutely shite looking One of my favourite sights in football is our ends at away games in Europe. Always loved all the supporters clubs flags plastered over the away sections hammer93
JamieD 18,077
I was in the crowd for this. Was pretty tasty. I distinctly remember feeling very tense when the lad gets dragged away by the police in the first video, because the previous derby had descended into a pretty mad riot. As it happened, the police were very well behaved on the day, even if the fans weren't. RangersMedia and falkirkNS

bluenose244 2,559
The best atmospheres are the ones that are reacting to what's happening on the park. The ULTRAS around Europe are very impressive and perhaps intimidating initially when coming out the tunnel, but it becomes background noise very fast, goals are scored and conceded and the ULTRAS are almost oblivious to events on the park. Games at Ibrox like Parma, Dortmund, Leipzig take your pick... fans, stadium and team all wired in kicking every ball together. Agree with this, I saw a clip of Boca fans in the entire stadium bouncing, but the other team had a penalty which they scored and the majority of the stadium barely flinched, just carried on. Didn't sit right with me at all bluenose244

Aye I shouldn’t say I think it looks shite, it just doesn’t do anything for me. Never really gotten into the whole ultra thing at any level tbh McEwan's Lager

Vaguely remember being away at East Stirling, and I've seen a photo of me at Annan so my body was in the ground at least. I think we all very much sobered up by the following season and the reality of the situation and how long the road back was going to be. This is it. Its not actually in the english premier league aside from one or 2 shitey attempts. falkirkNS 6,298
Wouldnt mind BT sport or the likes showing South American games, especially these derbies. Anything ive watched, they roundky kick f..k out of each other on the park, constant fouling with that south american flair.

After our game last year we were kept in the Marakana for a long time and quite a number of their fans stayed too. A while after the final whistle either a steward or a cop (can't remember which) manhandled a Red Star fan and next minute they had the entire section chasing them around their end. It must have been at least 100 fans, possibly more on this one guy. Never seen anything like it. From the distance it was like watching a swarm of ants devour a piece of food. Guy must have got an absolute kicking.

It seems to change annually, but BBC and Viaplay (previously Premier Sports) had the rights to show a lot of South American football in the UK. I think the BBC had the rights for the Copa Libertadores games which they were sticking on the BBC One Red Button + iPlayer falkirkNS

JamieD 18,077
3 minutes ago, ForeverAndEver said: Do Partizan fans not have to go separated into different sections too, due to hating each other? I was in the Red Star end, but the stadium certainly seemed to be set up for segregation. The away end was divided into three, with large metal fences between where I was and where the hardcore Red Star ultras behind the goal were, and another fence separating a third section on the other side of the curve. I assume it was the same at the Partizan end, but couldn't really see much because of the smoke. The set their end on fire, which I think is in one of the videos I posted. Their own stadium! Funnily enough, the opposing fans seemed to be in good spirits with each other. Every time the Partizan fans finished a song the Red Star fans applauded (maybe sarcastically?) and vice versa. It was weird. Especially since the Red Star fans kept singing an obviously racist song (all I could understand was they were rhyming "Partizans" with "Pakistans". It was pre big money and the team was shit but the atmosphere was still pretty good. Back in those days it was easy to get tickets at the club shop
