never been anywhere near a balon d'or (which in itself doesn't necessarily mean everything) and since Xavi/Iniesta left his deficiencies have shown IMO. Not saying he is a bad player, hes a good player, very good just wouldn't go as far as saying incredible or anything like that.

They don't look the same on the eye in terms of style of play but I think he's a bit like Kent.

Underrated work rate, ball progression and retention, good level of assists.

Both shite at scoring with woeful goal returns for players that play as part of a front three.

Kent's work rate isn't underrated at all, it's the one thing he is universally praised for.
