Cantwell

He was non-existent today and a yard off the pace.

To win these games, you need the skillful players to step up. Cantwell, Kent & Tillman did not.

He never steps up.

Like Tillman he never really got a chance to impose himself.....the worry is that these are the games they will inevitably be judged on

The problem we have is that we don’t have midfield players (other than Raskin) who compliment players like Tilman and Cantwell. We need some tough hard working midfielders with a will to drive forward and get in the opposition’s face. We need disrupters and water carriers  to allow the flair guys to play their game but at present they are relied upon to put in a shift and be creative.
Lundstram, Kamara and now Jack are too pedestrian.

He set his stall out today by inexplicably not getting a shot in on Hart in the first few minutes. Choosing to do his usual stop start pish, going down a blind alley then turning back, rather than cutting inside and skelping it when he had the chance.

well past his sell by date and he will disappear like snow off a dyke when he leaves Rangers and, at best, will end up at a bottom half championship team or league 1 team.

He had 86 minutes to impose himself, tbf. Way down our list of concerns, though. I think he’ll be a good signing.

My point is based on the fact that he was part of a front three that never ever looked like they were on the same wavelength :tu:

Not knocking him, he covers some distance, puts in a great shift BUT I thought he was signed for what he could deliver in attack? So far, on that front he hasn't shown enough.

He was shite today bud, but believe me he is the least of our worries

I'm not sure what I think of his performance today.

In hindsight I'd say in the attacking third he definitely wasn't as influential as he should have been. Put in a lot of hard yards and pressed well.

Was it good? Was it bad?

I don't think today is the day to have a go at him, I would say I want to see more numbers from him in other games if he'll be a mainstay.
