Popular Post Clemdog 39,388
I know that there is a lot praise banding about for other players and rightfully so. But Goldson deserves a huge amount of praise, again. It would seem he's playing through an injury until the end of the Season and today he was absolutely solid. There's plenty of our squad over the last 4 years who aren't good enough or don't understand the Club, but he isn't one. If we're honest, he's been dealt a shite hand with GK's and CB partnerships. Looking forward to see how he gets on next Season with some reinforcement around him. I actually think he's underrated by a lot of our support and gets undeserved stick for mistakes he's made in the past. Probably doesn't help that he's been part of multiple underperforming squads. He's a great defender and it's really noticeable the drop in organisation and general confidence at the back in others when he doesn't play. Brackley Bluenose 4,470
Point in the game today when he just managed the situation really well, something we haven’t done very well in recent games against them. A ball went out for a throw/corner can’t remember and it bounced off the advertising straight towards one of their players. To stop them from playing quickly while he was out of position, he made a b line for the ball and kicked it away giving him time to get in and get set. Kind of stuff we haven’t been great at of late in these big games. Overall, thought he was excellent again today. Bigdave30 8,265
He’s a good cunt, had his share of great games and howlers for us over the years, I like him and he’s the least of our worries when it comes to a list of priorities. This was part of the tactic today I think, numerous times we put the ball back on the park when it went out of play, so there was no quick free kicks/ throw ins, Yilmaz in particular was doing it alot. livibear101 247
Agree that he is definitely underrated on here to think a lot of people were happy to let him go last year but we would have struggled to replace him with the same quality NorthernLights

The Beast 8,785
He's the best CH we've had for many years probably since Davie Weir. He's not perfect but if he was he wouldn't be playing in the SPFL. The best praise I can give him is that he makes every other CH that plays alongside him better. JCDBigBear

Negri's lovechild 12,518
When he's on form, he's a collossus, but there's always a switch off in him and these lapses have contributed directly to goals conceded. He's been good but I think we need better if we want to consistently win titles again.
