Is it not more to do with showing you're appreciation with what he's done for the club throughout the years .

Should be donating it all then imo. Great keeper, legendary player but don't think he should be profiteering. Club could probably have made 1m quid from the game. It's probably a contractual obligation though.

That'll be up to him though , be nice if he does , but most peoples decision to go to a testimonial would be based on what he's done for the club rather than how he spends the proceeds .
