In what way does it have no effect on him? He physically moves him from the area where the ball comes into and if he doesn't then there is no push on Hart. He has far more effect on Raskin than Raskin does on Hart. If Raskin drags Taylor away from his position in the 6 yard box the referee blows his whistle 100%. There's always pushing and pulling and buffeting and blocking in the box. Goalkeeper contact is always judged to an entirely different standard. Has been for many, many years. As I say, blocking, buffering and pulling go on. Taylor's basically just following him around trying to make his life difficult and make sure he can't get free from hos marking using little pulls and blocks and buffets, the way defenders often do at corners. Nothing he did was out of the ordinary. All of it is below the normal kkinds of thresholds we generally see. graeme_4

So he wanted to be exactly where he was - behind Hart to stop him backtracking. Amokachi and Inigo

Don't remember the Aberdeen one, but the Hearts one wasn't less severe. Had passed the usual close quarter buffeting, Goldson escaped, then his shirt was stretched behind him as he moved to challenge for the ball and Goldson fell. Wasn't the same. You're harder to mark when you're moving, and front to back movement is better because the defender can't watch both you and the ball at the same time. Basic stuff. Raskin done everthing right except for the needless push. Taylor didn't foul him until after the push. You can't (or won't) see it, so we'll agree to disagree on this one. As I said, we've plenty more REAL grievances to be highlighting.

He's clearly gone where he wanted to go there, after escaping Taylor. Which makes complete logical sense given what we were teying to do. Even if it's not, which he is, he ends up in the most advantageous position he could be in.

He was in exactly the best position for that corner. If he just stands his ground there its a goal and no foul. Inigo and Amokachi

Inigo 33,338
Just now, Roy Hobbs said: To get him away from there. Why do you think it's ok? Yeah, to get him away from where he wanted to be. Behind the goalie, the best place to be to block him. Hence when he got free he made a bee line for there. Not for back to where he began 3 yards out. I don't have a deep opinion on whether it's OK. I just know it's normal stuff that usually goes unpunished probably because of how referees are instructed to interpret rules.
Rigamonti 59
Where Raskin wanted to be is a moot point anyway. The bottom line is Taylor didnt foul him at any point until after Raskin pushed Hart. it was all just the usual blocking off, arms across etc that EVERY defender does, including our own. And if you push the goalie in the back, thats always going to result in a foul.
