With the way the Scotland coefficient has been gutted no one including septic is going to be playing CL football anytime soon after this year. This was our last chance to get our hands on CL money.

People say that but any other year, with the draw/s we get this year we could qualify.

That Kiev team for a start are going out next round for cert

I’ve become numb to it now mate, they have literally killed any enjoyment. Given the way we’ve started this season, I thought there was a high possibility last night’s result happened. Any highs after a win are now subdued and any losses are just meh. That’s on this board, this management, the minging football we’re being served and the players. Sick of the lot of them.

I don't want to even talk about football today.

Yet keep looking at this forum. Glutton for punishment 😫

After this year only the Scottish champion will qualify for the CL and they will probably need to win three qualifying rounds to get into the groups.

He wants the game restarted quicker to try and get back into the tie. It shows character, determination and fight……what you’d expect of your captain tbh

Don't want to burst your bubble but it doesn't matter how quick you get the ball back, you've got to wait on the other team getting back as well before you can restart the game.

It's all about demeanour mate, and not looking like you've thrown the towel in.

Being eager to get going again isn't a bad trait to have.

I’d rather have 11 players looking to get the game going again than defeatist arseholes who have “been there and lost that”

Pointless, so if Tav had grabbed the ball his display would have been overlooked.

As shallow as it is I’d have taken a doing in every CL game if it meant getting the CL money

You’re right though - I don’t have much faith in the current set up getting incoming’s right.

You’re right.  As painful as it would have been to most likely see us dismantled in the majority of CL games, the bigger picture was all about bringing in funds, which in turn, allow better quality players to be brought in, at a more rapid rate.  I suspect there will be limited transfer business now, and the quality will (in most cases) not be good enough.

There is little to be positive about right now, and unless we witness a minor miracle with the players we have available, it’s difficult to see this being a successful season.

Already answered this - pointless - so if someone who's been rotten all game grabs the ball, which doesn't get the game started any quicker, does this improve his performance.

Not saying that exactly, it's demeanour during a game also. I've said it on here recently I think Barron and Diamonde are average (ish) at this point in time but give their all. Think Barron has been the better of they two.

Tav now sends out the wrong signals, everything is laboured, head goes down, shoulders slumped and that anxious look on his face.

I for one have always been a Tav fan and like him, but it's sad to see. Even I think he knows he's done at this level now. He's about 2 yards slower and got turned inside out last night.

Been a great servant to our club, and I doubt you'll see many a less injured/fit player than him. It's remarkable how many games he's played mate.

Yep, and this is on the manager. He should have been bold enough to take Tav out and put Sterling in as first choice, and tried to move him on and changed the captaincy. Thank Tav for being a great servant but move on to a new era.

But the manager hasn't been big enough to make the call, and Tav now looks completely done and its painful to watch him struggle to get about the pitch.

You're right, he can't drop himself or refuse to play.

I can see it in him, this level of football is done for him. It's ashame as he's been a great servant to the club. His pace has gone (one of his main attributes) and it shows, he knows it to.

Yep, its hard to watch. He has the body language of a beaten fighter that needs the bell.

The decision shld have been taken out of his hands.

I said before that now was the time to go before the toxicity levels go through the roof and all we remember is him going to shit.

I'm not trying to be harsh on Tav, he should have been sold and not been put in the position where he has to play ever game for us, and be captain.

He got turned inside out last night and I could honestly see in his face he knows he's slower and doesn't really want to play at that level anymore.

Credit has to go to him though as he's being picked /still captain because of our pish recruitment. I like Tav and always will, but he should get out now.
