Here’s were we are as a club -

Chairman/acting CEO - Bennett

DOf shared between Creag Robertson (ex scout) and Koppen (ex PSV scout)

Acting Academy Director - Davie McCallum

Head of Academy - Zurab Amiriam (winning doesn’t matter to him.

Also didn’t help that Gerrard blew the CL qualifier against Malmo either.

That’s another massive sliding doors moment over the past few years.

Probably the biggest

But you think we would have more than plugged that gap by making the final and then the following champions league on top of some big player sales

You watch Gio interview immediately after beating PSV and he mentions how it makes some funds available and then a few days later once the board have obviously got a hold of him he is telling us he is happy with the squad at hand

Let's start by not rewarding players for achievements elsewhere, especially when their projectory is downward.

Sitting with plenty of players who are earning a decent wedge here in the hope they find their feet again and we make millions.

If your earning 20k at Rangers it should be because you've been a player like Barron. Come here on lower wages, earn an increase based on performance and to maybe ward off interest from elsewhere. A 20k/week players needs to be worth 5m+ minimum.

Got half a dozen players earning a decent whack having done fuck all in reality and hanging around because nobody wants them on £20-£30k.

Coming to Ibrox should be a privilege that doesn't need us to pay over the odds in wages to attract them, if it does then move on a find the right ones.

Its probably came to a head now and we'll be forced into doing transfer dealings this way but its embarrassing a club our size has been ran like it has.

Wheres the money coming from so we can at least challenge? He's all we have

Two questions for you, in your opinion, how much would you expect to get for him and  who would buy him.

Davie McCallum was excellent in Colditz and The Great Escape to be fair.

If i knew that i would've said that originally but he's really our only decent sellable asset.. My opinion is top end of Championship for £6-7m is top

we also have to reinstate Hagi and Cantwell. Pointless paying them to play against kids and noone seems interested in them either. We'll get a bit of cash from the new Europa league format which could help us to get a striker that takes a shot but all that aside if we want money Butland is all we have.

Rangers and my workplace are cut from the same cloth. The clowns running the organisation continually trying to put a positive spin on failure and back slap one another for trying. It’s nauseating and wouldn’t have been encouraged in the Rangers I grew up with. Being honest, I feel alienated from the club at the moment but at least I know I’m not alone.

This board's biggest mistake was not consolidating when Gerrard won the league.

We gambled and set ourselves back years.

Jack on that open goal podcast said a signing or 2 of quality that summer would've kicked us on again. Andy then said Gerrard was raging we never got veerman.

You're right we gambled looked across the seen them as a binfire throw in we beat them at Ibrox and this board thought not a chance they rebuild within the year champions league money guaranteed.

The biggest mistake I think the board have made in recent years is not backing Gio properly. His style wasn’t great but if he was given the money to get the right players in to implement it we would be light years ahead of where we are now.

100% spot on. Imagine getting rid of a manager who took a team from the diddy league that is the SPFL to a European final - and replacing him with a Cockney wide-boy with next to zero managerial experience.

Everything that has transpired since has flowed from this ludicrous decision and could therefore be described as self-inflicted.

Watching folk at Ibrox getting interviewed, I know they need to be positive but phrases like ‘I hope Clement gets the backing he deserves” just shows people don’t get it, there’s no fucking money left. We’re a loss making business, haemorrhaging millions on wages on utter shite that we can’t punt. Inside 1/2 months, if not sooner, it’s going to be toxic around us.

I'm afraid your opinion about Butland and mines differs greatly, in his time here I can't recall him making a save I wouldn't expect him to make, I can remember him being at fault at numerous goals, I'm including the first one last night, sorry but I can't see anyone paying money for him.

He’s tailed off in recent months, but that’s a ridiculous take tbh. Keepers who only make saves that people would expect them to make don’t get nominated for both the PFA and the SFWA player of the season.

In a bad league with little competition they do.

So what you're saying is a manager implemented a style, we gave him the time to do it and it worked?

That's exactly what we should be doing, the issue is none of our recent managers have implemented any sort of style to the team and there's been no clear vision of what the plan is.

what I was saying was, that no one gave a fuck about, or obsessed about, a style of plat until Postecoglu arrived at the scum and Rangers fans started getting jealous of the adulation he and they were getting.

You then made the point about Gerrard having a style, even though it never worked for 3 years.

I've said it before but nothing has changed my mind. We are basically now a Hearts,we may win the odd cup if the filth are knocked out by another club (we certainly won't knock them out this "Rangers" side literally shit themselves at the very sight of a bheast top) but forget leagues. They'll equal our 55 this season then motor off into the distance on honours won. Sat last night in the pub watching us playing a key European game worth millions at a half empty Hampden with a lunar atmosphere and it was surreal. Is this really The Rangers I've grew up watching and loved for 60 years? There are so many issues around our club it would take a book to go through them all.

And can i just say that Clement doesn't get a free pass. It was obvious to a blind man last night they were targeting Jefte once he got a yellow he should have been withdrawn soon as first half ended. Add in team selections leaving out players stubbornly the whole Cantwell Hagi stuff (we are still paying their vast wages I assume) i fear Clement will go the same way as a long line of previous managers. Lose at the knew camp, which I fully expect, probably heavily, and it's going to get ugly.

Never felt so detached from this club. I reckon we all realise that we are no longer any kind of force in the Scottish game and won’t be for some time to come but this point now is as bad as it gets - we are a laughing stock on and off the pitch with as bleak on outlook as you could imagine.
Our board treat us like mugs, our manager is becoming a rambling mess and 99% of our squad don’t give a single fuck about pulling on that jersey - just hand them their massive wages and they’ll be off home quite happy.

There’s nothing watching this team anymore - just an expectation of when the next let down will come

Fuck knows what it is we’re following now or what we watch but it’s not Glasgow Rangers

Just sat irritated since last night, Had a lot to think about with this club the last 18hrs or so. The referee was a shambles and certainly played a part in spoiling our CL run but my disgust doesn't even lie with him. It lies with the club as a hole and how we are managed. The ref will be dealt with by UEFA yet again.

Never been a manager but had important roles in the companies I have worked for to improve team morale and knowing that a well oiled machine will run smoothly. When something runs smoothly you get better outcomes and better stats to look at.

I'm not in any way a football coach or studied the game, I have played when I was younger with friends but can still see what's good and what's not good. If I ran this club I would have the hole fan base chasing me down with sharks because I would rip this team to the bare bones and build a team around Barron a few of the youths and sell Butland and Dessers and co to anyone willing to pay the fee that was healthy for the club. I would invest in more home grown talent and over the windows add in that extra bit of quality if it was affordable to the club. And anyone that was signed wouldn't be getting luxury contracts unless they had the stats to back it up.

Love this club with all my heart but it's hard watching it sink like the fucking titanic. We need change and we need it now.
