Jakes Pal Posted November 21 Posted November 21 Out today 21/11, some very good initial reports, and I am now impatiently waiting my download from Game pass to complete, going with the PC version to see how my rig handles it. I played the original way back when, and the follow up, Call of Pripyat I think and I really enjoyed them at the time. I have also spent a lot of hours in the Metro games so I do not know what is is about post apocalyptic ex soviet country set games that I seem to enjoy so much. Any feedback/gameplay tips from anyone else giving this a go would be most welcome. Quote

Do not touch this with a barge pole on Windows, stuttering, bug infected mess, not much better on Xbox. Game is not ready, maybe in 6 months time and numerous patches later it will be playable. I played a couple of hours and was impressed by the atmosphere and the difficulty, you will die, however at the moment too frustratingly buggy, some game breaking very early on. Quote
CR3 Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Aye as above unless you’re mad into the setting or games like Metro in a big way. I wouldn’t be paying anything for this. Got to try it on game pass and it was switched off quite soon after. Quote

Interesting game, but very buggy. Bit too common these days. Who knows though, maybe the publisher will have some balls and support updates till the game is closer to a finished product, like Cyberpunk. Granted CP{ far from perfect but a decent game compared to before. Quote

Unlike CDPR who took deserved pelters for releasing Cyberpunk before it was ready, GSC Game World should be cut a bit of slack as after all, their country was invaded and is currently fighting for its life, and they had to relocate their studio to the Czech Republic I believe. As I said, I will keep an eye open for patches coming out and give it another go in a few months. Quote
