BERAM KAYAL has taken a pot-shot at rivals Rangers by insisting Celtic have the best players in the country.

The midfielder also says Neil Lennon's side play the most attractive football in the SPL and did so last season when Gers were champs.

Israeli ace Kayal, preparing to face Atletico Madrid in the Europa League tonight said: "Last season we played the best football in the country and we showed that to everyone. It has taken time to come together this season, but the gaffer is now doing that very well.

Completely serious question : how did the scum play tonight if anybody watched their game ? A few of them are waxing lyrical about their performance on my FB and we had some banter about the OF coming up soon. They believe they're going to run all over the top of us.

Deluded cunts. But yeah, opinion from anyone who watched the game?

First 30 minutes they were probably the better team, Hooper missed a really good chance. Goal was very lucky and then Udinese dominated the rest of the game and should have scored at least 5 with the chances they created.

Even during that spell it was more of a case of Udinese being terrible, than the scum being great.

(tu) knew they would see it threw their green-tinted specs. Cheers!

RENEGADE Celtic fans showed their contempt for football chiefs last night by setting off flares and waving a banner saying "F*** UEFA" at their Europa League clash.

They held up the sign ahead of the teams' arrival on the pitch — before Neil Lennon's side were dumped out of Europe in a 1-1 draw with Udinese in Italy.

A Celtic fan was arrested for attacking one of the club's own stewards. Parkhead chief Executive Peter Lawwell was in the crowd.

Grim-faced Lawwell was spotted on his mobile phone immediately after the banner stunt.

Hoops chiefs asked Italian cops to arrest the lout after the steward was attacked.

The yob spent the night in a Udine jail.

The scenes come just days after the club was hit with a £13,000 fine by the governing body over 'illicit chanting' at last month's home tie with Rennes.

The flares were let off — in breach of Italian law — by rogue Hoops fans in the away end of the Stadio Friuli in Udine moments before kick-off.

Celtic chiefs were desperate to avoid trouble and had issued warnings to fans spelling out what could happen if flares were lit. They said it could leave the club "exposed to disciplinary action."

It is understood that Celtic will pore over video footage of the banner being raised and the flares being set off.

Any fans identified will be banned from Parkhead for life.

It is likely the official UEFA match delegate Steen Dahrup, from Denmark, will include the behaviour in his report.

Double Dutch and excuses from that sporting great lennon

Lennon blamed two penalty decisions for his side failing to make the last 32 - one that Udinese were given in Glasgow and one his side were denied in the dying moments of last night's epic tussle.

He added: "I take a lot of positives from the game. I thought from the first whistle right to the death we were fantastic.

"There were some wonderful individual performances. To come here against a side at the top of Serie A and take the game to them the way we did, I can't speak highly enough of the team.

"I'm very disappointed we haven't qualified but the penalty Udinese got at Celtic Park has probably made the difference.

"I also thought we should have had a penalty kick at the end when Daniel Majstorovic headed the ball on to the centre-half's arm. From where I was, it was a clear hand ball and a penalty.

"It wasn't ball to hand, he blocked it with his arm. The ref had a good view and I don't understand why it wasn't given."

If that quotes correct surely the wee pricks contradicting himself, if he headed the ball onto his arm it's ball to arm not arm to ball.

(tu)

Also, i am sure the commentator said on replay, it was never a penalty too.

Depends whether or not the guy stuck out a hand. According to the radio it was never a penalty.
