ArchibaldLeitch 380
Uefa should be made aware of the violence from celtc fans at murrayfield and the sectarian chanting.Get their shotehole closed for the next round.
Jonnyboyrfc 296
So if Legia win their appeal - will they be slotted back into the competition?Yes but they don't have a leg to stand on, the appeal will be batted into touch in a heartbeat

there'sonlyoneamoruso 1,724
The lesson of the story here is:If you're drawn against Celtic in European competition make sure your paperwork is in order otherwise you're fucked even if they are beaten on the pitch. soulboy 2,518
Legia shouldn't have fielded an illegible player, pure and simple. A bit shite but that's the rules. Some will be embarrassed by it but if it happened to us then I doubt we'd be complaining much.the scum are every bit as much to blame they complained when the guy made no difference to the score. Where's their sporting integrity now What was wrong with the scum saying we were beat so we're not going to make a complaint
gmcf 34,124
Don't understand teams that do this. Surely every team gets issued with a list of players that are registered and if you're not on that list , the nearest you get to the park is wearing a shirt and tie. berkshirebear 2,771
How did a celtic official know, but no one at Legia knew. What a crazy decision to bring on this player. I think this stinks to be honest.

They get free entry to another pot of CL money by not exiting asthey should. There should have a been a rematch of the second game with the score from the first game remaining in place. Shortbread 28
Absolutely unbelievable that they get pumped silly over 2 games and they've still managed to get through on an admin error.
better than all the rest 153
The fact they'll more than likely go through now is annoying. Can't get over Legia doing that in the last few mins when 6-1 up Match fixing at the highest level, the only way you can throw a game, someone told the management the player could play . Inigo 32,526
Should it make a difference? NoDoes it make a difference in the rules? YesAre the rules a pile of utter nonsense? YesHow did it make a difference? It didn't. It was 6 - 1 at the time with 3 mins to go. There was no intent to gain any advantage and no real advantage was gained. This is a simple matter of an admin error or oversight, very similar to Debrecen.'However, it has emerged that Bereszynski was not registered in Legia's squad for the ties against the Dublin side and therefore the matches did not count towards his suspension.'A simple matter of failing to register him so that the suspension didn't kick in. If he had been registered it would not have been suspended v sellic. That's a clear, honest ovrsight. A fine would suffice, but not a £15 Million pound one. iain1712 336
Would be karma at its finest if it was Maribor of all teams to send them out for good. If they sell Lurch and Van Dijk there is still some chance. May be wrong but didn't Maribor put up a decent fight against Spurs or someone last year ?Even if Maribor beat them in this round the beggars drop into the Europa league group stages. Sporting integrity and all that !
AlCapone 7,678
Can someone explain this? Ive seen theyve been awarded 3-0 in a game, but wouldnt that make the score 4-6?whats your IQ?
