Barca -v- Rangers

Perhaps this has been discussed already, although I can't find it. I've not logged on for a few days, been busy. I think Walter is a great manager, I know some don't. However, why when JC and Novo came on in the Barca game last Wednesday did they have the only 2 real chances at goal and they came on with 20 or so minutes to go? Neither were injured and both could managed 60 if not 90 minutes. I reckon they should have been in from the beginning?

So the fact that he managed to improve our game by bringing on the correct substitutes, does that not make him a good manager?

Also Darcheville had only played 30min of football in 6 weeks prior to the game so i think Walter was correct not to start him and risk losing him for much longer

I think Walter & co are a great management team just wondered if JC and Novo were on earlier if there was a chance we might have scored.
