Frankie 505
Am annoyed as I have a meeting in Glasgow this evening so was going to go to this game first... Have a few things still to do at work though so can't leave Edinburgh until 3pm...
Poetry_In_Blue 1,043
is it on rangers TV by any chance ? It will be, eventually, the games are always shown usually a couple of days after the event. Unlucky Frankie, I wish I was rich enough that I didn't have to work so I could go to all of the youth games (if allowed in), reserves and first team games. Frankie 505
Same here mate. Unfortunately for most of us work dictates our chances of getting to these games. I'd much rather see them played in the evening where more fans could attend and support the fringe players.

Frankie 505
BTW, for those in the East can I specifically recommend the Steven Hardie testimonial match in December... I know big Chunky really well and there is no more deserving junior player of a game against the bears than Steven. It's actually his testimonial dinner this Sunday as well so that will be another great day... This weekend is going to be drowned in beer...

Frankie 505
Worst thing about reserve/youth fixtures is that they are often changed at short-notice... Always worth phoning the venue up before you travel to check the game is on.
Poetry_In_Blue 1,043
Finished as a 2-2 draw. Gretna went ahead, then goals from Adam and Buffel put Rangers ahead, but Gretna equalised with 3 minutes to go. Gow hit the crossbar (and also got sent off with a straight red for reacting badly to a foul), Broadfoot had a shot cleared of the line, and Reidford pulled of a great save after Faye made a mistake. http://www.rangers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Re...1166831,00.html

Poetry_In_Blue 1,043
Adam AND Buffel? That ferks frankies and dannys argument up Can't wait to see the game on Rangers TV, apparently the Adam goal was a cracker, and Buffel's was from a great lay off from Lennon. It looks like we should have slaughtered them, most of the team went close to scoring.

papaguy51 912
Does that mean Gow's suspended from 1st team games after his red card? Not going well for him
docspiderman 863
Does not say much about our squad when Gretna reserves can draw with a team containing Whittaker,Broadfoot,Burke, Gow,Buffel,Adam, oh, and Faye. 7 players supposedly trying to be first team picks. Not just the result today but so far this season our reserve team featuring first team squad players has badly under achieved whether due to lack of application or ability. The inclusion of these guys seems to weaken the reserve team rather than make it stronger.
