Muff 245
They have Chimbonda and have just signed the lad from Cardiff. Dont believe any of this until I see it on a credible website.

Danny 9
A number of thoughts occur: As others have rightly said, Hutton himself hasn't agreed to leave. This is only an alleged acceptance of an offer from a club. Unfortunately by accepting the offer, if we have, we are saying to Hutton he's free to leave. One last thing; 8m isn't enough. Quite frankly that we've accepted less than 10 is quite insulting. Minimum of 15M imo.

Dont believe any of this until I see it on a credible website. if hutton wants to go it should be to a team where he is guaranteed to be their first choice right back. and you never know barry might have a word with him about the premiership and tell him to only accept the big 4. nvager 498
8m + = Ok Deal IMO. Everyone has his price - i am just thankful it is not Cuellar. Anyway may be a load of bollocks - let wait and see.
Muff 245
To sell Hutton mid-season would be nothing short of stupidity. I would not be comfortable with Whittaker at RB and for £8million would just be f*cken stupid considering other big clubs have been rumoured to be interested in him. If we did accept this bid and it was the 1st one recieved then Murray and Bain should walk.
Davey_RFC 122
If this is true, do any of you expect a bidding war?
JR 1,480
Truth is no-one knows what the figure is or whether there are add-ons, so lets not get too bogged down in it. Hopefully that means there will be faces coming in to Ibrox now - coz we'll need them.
Danny 9
If this is true, do any of you expect a bidding war? If we'd rejected the bid, yes. But the problem is we've accepted this meaning we're looking to get a good chunk of cash but we're not gonna hold out for a severe payday.
BlueSuedeSambas 53,751
Sky running with it now. It's not looking good
bluenose_72 198
If this is true, do any of you expect a bidding war? possibly. depends how desperate other teams are. it was rumoured SAF wanted him to replace neville but man utd are now being linked with bosingwa. so you'd imagine that if SAF wanted hutton now would be the time to get him because £8m is a steal!(thats if all this is true). MeAndMyWeePalJoe 17
Reported on SSN as "being reported in Scotland". Between 8 and 9 million. Spurs refused to comment... Lets hope it starts a bidding war.

ricksen_da_best 2,034
huttons needs to accept. Martin bain can gtf, accepts 8milion halfway through the season when if hutton continued to play as well as he did through the season we could get much more! KeepBelieving1872 64
If this is true, do any of you expect a bidding war? Not if Rangers have already accepted the bid. As a previous post says this better not be the first bid considering other clubs are rumoured to be interested. Possibly could have held out for more. Has a club ever accepted Rangers' first bid for a player as they hold out for more??? None that springs to mind other than Whitaker!
craigeee 60
If we get about ten million and use it wisely , perhaps this could be a blessing.. still would be gutted to see him leave though , especially when he is getting better and better. Muff 245
Accepting this shows the ambition of the club. £8million is a lot of money, unfortunatley Hutton's worth more, he's only going to get better!

It could be similar to the Boumsong deal. We sold him and were gutted, yet we got Buffel, Kyrgiakos and Ferguson out of it.
