Thermopylae 15,286
Since this is the first OF at Ibrox since the UEFA fiasco it's hardly surprising is it <nooo> <yes> .
stevenage bear 5
It was more important tha we out played them and that was done . NO QUESTIONSbut the point about the singing at Ibrox is a good one, when it hot there is no better stadium in the world, I would argue that with anyone. But at the moment we need to get singing more
Danny 9
I was disappointed by the atmosphere. We could have belted out DW's or GSQ or RB with more gusto.Any of these are safe.

craigbrown69 0
It will take more of us realising that when we are at the game, we must cheer on the team when they are down. It is hard, but that is when it counts the most.

minstral 5,375
a lot of people are now scared to sing, because they could get flung out or arrested, they just dont know what songs are safe.

Dado 334
I was sitting in the govan and the atmosphere was ok, when you are getting beat off the unwashed its hard to sit and sing for 90 minutes.
Ibroxblue 122
Don't think it's anything to do with UEFA. The atmosphere has been in decline for years.
docspiderman 1,122
I don,t care if nobody was singing or being out sung. I go to see Rangers playing and Rangers winning on the park!It would be great if the noise level was better but at the end of the day I just wnt us to win. Baileyseye 0
i'm a bit disspaointed at the lack of singing by us today they outsung us Celtic were quiet against Aberdeen a few weeks ago at Parkhead. They did not start singing until after their late goal. The dons fans were the same as the tic fans today, and they started to sing "you've only sung one song". So it must be the same for both sides of the oldfirm, imho, We will start singing again, just needs a new song or two...
eastcoastbear 122
I agree with IbroxBlue, the atmosphere has been pish for years but defo not helped by the UEFA malarkey. Too many fans are now wary of singing stuff like Derrys Walls incase a spy shops them. The guy next to me in the Copland Rear puts his scarf over his gub now so nobody can see him singing. A ludicrous state of affairs in OUR home.I mind back in the early days of 9 in a row, a character nicknamed "The Copland Nutter" used to stand in the stairway if the atmosphere was dull and continually belt out Walter Smith's Blue And White Army until everyone joined in. Think he also had a drum of some sort with him?? Funny at the time but should have been unnecessary.Bottom line I reckon is that the PC mob have made too many fans wary of singing stuff that doesn't even contain FTP etc. All this wondering if it's ok to sing is utter pish and it's about time we fans, especially the older ones, stood up and made ourselves heard. No time for any PC types that would like to get rid of all of our traditional stuff. I agree the out and out sectarian stuff had/has to go but not all of our tunes are like that.Rant over. <bouncy>

Why the club employs so many bitter tims who hate everything we stand for is beyond me .

Back_Murray 0
Well the Atmosphere at Ibrox has been poor this season apart from the last two minutes against Aberdeen when Sebo netted whoever else who was at that game will remeber the noise we made. However on 606 someone made the point that Rangers fans only sing at big games and this season that has been true if you think today's atmosphere was poor come to the St Mirren game in two weeks time and you'll have a quiet Ibrox. We need to get singing again but in truth when your 16 points behind Celtic sitting in 3rd place and out of the CIS Cup there's not much too sing about. Ok So we're not allowed to sing the Billy Boys I find this good I would rather have a silent Ibrox than a sectarian singing one but we do need to sing other songs like Follow Follow and we also need to sing our players names I heard yells of Sebo at the Dons game and occasionally you here Allan Mcgregor or There's only one Nacho Novo lets expand these and include players like Dado Prso. When Sebo scored the atmosphere in Ibrox was raised by about 20 notches and we totally went into song and the atmosphere was great at European games its been pretty good too although nothing like last year's Champions League games. When I went to my first Rangers game in 2001 (I'd always loved footie but decided to go) against Brechin I remebered the atmosphere and thats what made me become a fan and this year become a season ticket holder.
