Hopefully Papac and Hemdani make it. I think it's time to rest Weir and drop Broadfoot. With a bit of luck Charlie Adam will not be in the squad and Lee McCulloch will be on the bench.

Players are going to have to waken up if they want to make it 10 in a row!

Hearts- 2

Rangers- 2

This one's a toughie. Hearts have been poor this year, but Tynecastle is always a hard place to go and considering that they have a narrow pitch I think that this is most defenaitly a game for the hammer throwers of our squad:

McGregor

Whittaker Cuellar Weir Papac

Ferguson Dailly Davis

Novo Cousin McCulloch

I have a feeling we're going to drop points here. 2-1 Hearts

I wouldn't usually go with McCulloch, particularly in this system, but like Dado says, I think this is a game where the physical element of our play could be key. If we can't even play a fluent passing game against Gretna, I doubt we'll manage it at Tynecastle.

Whittaker was our worst player today for me, Darcheville was rotten for the third game in a row and neither Burke or Naismith impressed. So all dropped for me.

Broadfoot was surely worse than Whittaker today?

Not for me. I thought Broadfoot did well first half, a couple of good runs and was looking to play people in with a couple of decent passes. Was poor second half though, so mixed display for me. 6/10 if I was rating him.

Whittaker was woeful though in my view. His positioning is terrible, and has been in a lot of games. I bet you if you ask Davie Weir who he doesn't want outside him, it would be Whittaker. Passing was slack, offered very little going forward, didn't get tight enough and Gretna just generally looked a danger too often down his side. Really was left very concerned by his display today.

Walter knows this maybe the most important game outside the old firm. Its going to be difficult but if we get away with 3 points then I honestly believe the leagues ours. My mind says a draw but if we compete physically then a win by the odd goal. :rangers:

Sasa Papac is fit but Kevin Thomson, Brahim Hemdani and Lee McCulloch miss out.
