If we can't even play a fluent passing game against Gretna, I doubt we'll manage it at Tynecastle. Whittaker was our worst player today for me, Darcheville was rotten for the third game in a row and neither Burke or Naismith impressed. So all dropped for me. I thought Broadfoot did well first half, a couple of good runs and was looking to play people in with a couple of decent passes. Was poor second half though, so mixed display for me. 6/10 if I was rating him. Whittaker was woeful though in my view. His positioning is terrible, and has been in a lot of games. I bet you if you ask Davie Weir who he doesn't want outside him, it would be Whittaker. Passing was slack, offered very little going forward, didn't get tight enough and Gretna just generally looked a danger too often down his side. Really was left very concerned by his display today. Its going to be difficult but if we get away with 3 points then I honestly believe the leagues ours. My mind says a draw but if we compete physically then a win by the odd goal.
