I couldn't complain when we were going for the quadruple but the standard of play was still extremely poor and I didn't get anywhere near as excited about watching that team as I should have. Don't you remember home to Sporting, Fiorentina, Panathanikos - we were shit and extremely lucky against Werder Bremen, it was totally uninspiring football and everyone knew it! Who said Murray hasnt given Smith the dosh? Smith has spent plenty since he arrived. Only Cuellar has been successful IMO. So Smith has a lot to answer for. BTW I think our scouts must be crap.
