CF5LOYAL 0
I am going tonight to New Douglas park. My brother has a ST but he is working in Inverness so I told him instead of his seat lying empty I would go with my Papa. My Papa is some sort of Legend down there, he even had a full page write up about him in last seasons final day programme He has been an Accies fan since he was a wee boy and still go's home and away even today. My brother is gutted he is going to miss it, he has only missed about 10 games in the last 5 years. You think we get it hard ffs, try going up to Ross County on a frozen Wednesday and getting pumped and having to come all the way down the road!! I went to an Accies game about ten years ago vs Clydebank and he got lifted (again) because of the abuse he was giving the players. It was relentless for about 30 minuted before they kicked him out. Could you imagine how long he would last in Ibrox if he tried his antics There are not too many characters left in football anymore

CF5LOYAL 0
Who's Fergie? He was a headcase that used to follow Accies home and away for years. Used to stand with his tin of Super shouting non-stop abuse at the players and opposition fans
excoriate 0
Who's Fergie? Derek (Johnstone) also told another funny story featuring a combination of referee, Brian McGinlay, and the legendary Hamilton Accies supporter known to his intimates by the single nomme de guerre of ‘Fergie’. McGinlay had refereed a local derby between Hamilton and Motherwell on the Saturday afternoon. Motherwell had won thanks to a couple of questionable decisions by McGinlay. In the evening, McGinlay and his wife were out for a meal in Glasgow. As they strolled along Sauchiehall Street, Brian saw Fergie standing on the street corner pursuing his alternative vocation as an ‘Evening Times’ seller. In order to avoid the inevitable confrontation he and his wife jouked into a nearby up-market wine-bar. As they sat sipping their Pimms in the genteel, oak-panelled lounge, the door was kicked open and Fergie breenged in roaring, “Errsyerfinal Times. Read all about it. Referee makes a complete cunt of it ——- again !!! ”. http://almax.wordpress.com/category/nutters/ (in part 2)

My favourite story involving him was after Accies had played shit. Just before halftime, Fergie went to the pie stall and bought 11 pies. As each of the players came off to go down the tunnel, Fergie lobbed a pie at their coupon and shouted shite. Superb

Offiong isn't too experienced at this level, no natural right back and a couple of slow centrebacks. Midfield is very good though, so who knows.
