Well it's a bit odd they've waited till NOW to buy them, with only one day left in the window. But 600B is a lot of money.

Jelle1880 632
Sickening, I hope the EPL will implode as fast as possible. But until then, dump our shit players in England, they can afford whatever we want for them.
Thermopylae 15,288
Perhaps one day they will be bigger than United?
brissyger 8
Perhaps one day they will be bigger than United? It will certainly make this formerly fairly one sided rivalry a lot more interesting. I think they might be looking at how big Man U are in the world and hope that people who detest Man U will jump on the City bandwagon once they start attracting big players and doing well. BlueSuedeSambas 56,413
IMO Man City will never be as big a club as Liverpool, AC Milan, Man Utd, Barcalona, Real and so on. These clubs are considered as great clubs because of years of hard work, a great histroy and prolonged success. Throwing a bottomless pit of money at a club in the hope that they become successful will never make them a big club in my eyes. Same goes for Chelsea.
