JohnGalbraith 0
I think he should get the next player of the month award, but I bet Miller will get it. Honestly, I think the big mans been a class act. I've really taken to him. He's strong in the tackle and has a touch of class about him with his passing and heading. Take a bow big man. TMWWBK 0
It's a case of the king is dead, long live the king, for me. An almost seamless adaptation to Scottish football.

Gazzas_Flute 11
He reminds me slightly of Kyrgiakos , If battling for the ball with a defender he always chooses to run out of the box with it then play a short pass or launch it up the park , rather than just kicking it out. Good call. That's a trait I like in a defender.

Tumshie 205
He's the Algerian Amo. really impressed with him but when he's bringing the ball out of defence he can a bit slack. Done will in the OF game but the big test will be in Europe next season I think
robroy72 0
Much better footballer than Cuellar, IMHO. We need to play a team with a decent attack before we see how good of a defender he is.
wertp72 0
Liked Bougherra since day one. Doesn't panic. Confidence in his ability to deal with things. Will make a mistake or two but nothing major that has caused a goal. Tall, strong, and looks like he can handle anyone. He's still young. Hope we can hold on to him for a good while. Hopefully we get a good run out of him before we sell him for 10 million ^_^

nvager 498
Been excellent. Couldn't believe when people on here were giving him stick last week. Know what you mean. Looks good to me. BIG reason we are top of the SPL. Him, Mendes and Davis are three really good signings.

papaguy51 941
Is this for the whole SPL, or just Rangers? If it's Rangers - Davis should walk it. But Samaras will take the SPL award no sweat, he's been very good this month.
908 14
Bougherra looks better than Cuellar, who I thought was a bit over-rated. Neither him nor Weir could come out of defence with the ball, which I feel is an essential quality at Rangers, as most of the games (SPL) we are playing against a team with 11 men behind the ball, the midfield get tackled as soon as the ball comes to them, etc, so I think you need a defender who is comfortable in possession, and who can take it up the park on his own if there isn't a good pass on. Amoruso being the best example of that in recent years at Rangers, Bougherra reminds me of him a bit. Amoruso set up a lot of goals with his runs (eg. Arveladze's goal in the 6-1 SPL decider against Dunfermline) and scored a few himself (eg. against Aberdeen at Pittodrie). Of course Bougherra isn't being tested in Europe, so we can't totally judge him yet, but I thought Cuellar and Weir were too similar. I thought Advocaat had the right idea, with Moore and Amoruso - Moore to do the 'dirty work' and Amoruso to build from the back. Having two similar players, like those two donkeys Caldwell and McManus at celtic, is a bit of a weakness, in my opinion..
rfc72 0
Broadfoot or Davis for me, the 2 of them have been superb for us so far this month Bougherra didnt have the best of games at Firhill but he has been solid for us so far and long may it continue
