Had that shit ref in the OF game let our good goal stand, instead of saving Boruc from another howler, we'd be going for top.

Broadfoot fouled him!

Nah, he didn't.

Can't stick yer arm around the keeper like that and get away with it im afraid.

apprently you can, motherwell vs celtic game in 2008 celtic player hugs the keeper while they score.

Should have been the team last week...... (obviously with the exception of Bougherra who was injured)

Anyway, if that team doesnt murder this shower of shite there is absolutely no hope what so ever.

Should have been the team last week, bar Kris Boyd!

Why is Adam droppped for today, why was he given the nod in a massive game when he was ill?

Apparently he didnt tell them he was ill till after doh

Although, i agree, when everyone in the first and last saw CHARLIE ADAM on the team sheet there was an echoing WTF?

Maybe he IS going :shifty:

He hadnt played in god knows how many games, he is a dreadful footballer and has no pace. Therefore Walter saw it a clever move to play him on the left wing in the biggest game of our season.

He always has an ace up his sleeve does oor Walter

PS. Re: Boyd - agreed.

Cause he never told the Manager before the match! He really is an arse.

WALTER SMITH has made two changes to his starting eleven for today's crucial SPL clash against Inverness Caley Thistle.

Madjid Bougherra makes a welcome return having now recovered fully from a thigh strain which has kept him out of action for three weeks.

The Algerian will feature alongside Davie Weir in the heart of the Gers' backline with Kirk Broadfoot and Sasa Papac in the right and left back slots.

Steven Whittaker drops to the bench.

In midfield Nacho Novo has been given the nod on the left side of midfield in place of Charlie Adam.

The Spaniard's last start came against Kilmarnock on November 9 and he will be out to impress in Rangers opening game of 2009.

Novo joins captain Barry Ferguson, Pedro Mendes and Steven Davis in Smith's midfield four with Kris Boyd and Kenny Miller leading the attack.

Andrius Velicka has been named on the bench today but there is no place for Steven Naismith after it was suggested he could get a run-out against a Caley side sitting at the bottom of the SPL table.

The Light Blues, of course, can close the gap on league leaders Celtic to five points if they can secure a victory in the Highland capital.

RANGERS: McGregor; Broadfoot, Boughrerra, Weir, Papac; Davis, Ferguson, Mendes, Novo; Miller, Boyd

Subs: Alexander, Burke, Lafferty, Whittaker, Aaron, Velicka, Fleck
