The Rangers boss is trying to trim his 28-man first team squad amidst reports Newcastle and Marseille have registered an interest in £4.5million-rated defender Madjid Bougherra. pedros 0 Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 if bougherra is sold we'll get the usuall pish from murray and bain he wanted to leave he's got a release clause bougherra is the best defender we have and if we lose him you can never guarantee his replacement will be as good berra is shite and should never be allowed to play for rangers the question i would ask is he any better than webster was and look how crap he has turned out to be Berra is a solid defender - Webster had one, maybe two good seasons, he has always been injury prone. Berra imo would be a great signing for us as he is young, talented and bags of potential. I really hope Rangers go and get him this window as he will settle in and learn loads from Weir.
