If Ferguson was to leave i'd give it to Weir until the end of the season and then buy a captain in the summer.

I like Thomson as a player but i never did think too much of him as a captain when he was at Hibs.

I have said since close season 2007 that Kevin Thomson was our future Captain. Nothing has changed my mind on that.

It would be Steven Davis for me and Thomson as depute. He has that little bit more experience than Thomson and is footballing brain would help the team.

A good captain isn't one that moans constantly at other players and blames others for his misfortunes. In saying that Barry has served us well but I don't see him at the club until he hangs up his boots.

It's obviously either Thomson or Davis(if they remain at the club) I personally favour Davis,as Thomson gets too many yellow cards for me.
