blyth Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 I turned down Aston Villa and Liverpool but decided to take the Man United job at the end of my third season. I wish I had just stayed at Ibrox though. As much as it's great having so much money and loads of world class players at Man Utd, it's much more satisfying building a young squad and watching them develop into a top class team. I was steamrolling everone in Scotland, none more so than Celtic. 5-0 win at Parkhead, I was dancing about my room when Gignac was firing them in! Next time Rangers get rid of their manager, I'm definintely applying. They have Alex McLeish just now, Ally took over after me then went to Newcastle!
