donmac
Sunderland have announced that for next season, season tickets will be reduced by at least £30. They also want to ensure the next generation will become supporters and are offering kids season tickets at £19. Is there any chance that Rangers will follow suit as I honestly believe a lot of bears will be counting their pennies and be wondering if they should re-new for next season

Vidmaradona
I fully expect Mr Moneybags to take revenge on the supporters who hauled Murray back into line after his attempt to put the entire squad up for transfer were unveiled by Willie McKay. He's not been able to asset strip the squad because of that and I expect it'll be in the back of his mind when it comes to renewals. What's the best we could hope for? A price freeze and the removal of League Cup ties? That wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Jimfanciesthedude
murray will do what he's done in the past will be a glorious letter explaining how he's thinking of the fans in this economic hard times so therefore the prices will remain the same then at the bottom in the smallest font available (infact i think microsoft invented one for this purpose only) he'll mention the removal of free home cup games
GeneralCartmanLee
Eh….some people have very short memories….what did we do with our season ticket prices at the start of the season for child tickets etc…… Must be easy to knock £30 off a season ticket when you get handed over 30 million quid at the start of every season….. J_RFC87
Sunderland get about 20 times as much as us for just existing in the Premiership. same with other shit clubs like Blackburn, get handed £30-40million with having no fan base. If we cut season ticket prices, it means less revenue for us. Which means one less step to paying wages, repayments on overdraft...
Bluepeter9
I hope they do, i love full stadiums and it needs to be every week like the old days! ..err I dont think it could be much fuller every week - without away fans turining up = ffs we even got 45,00 for a mid week friendly
Bluedell
Holding prices at the same level means that the club gets over 2% more than last season due to the decrease in VAT.
CanadianBacon
It would be easier for Murray to sell a club that has a full stadium every fortnight than to sell one with huge empty spaces, so logically it would make sense for him to follow Sunderland's lead. .......but he won't. yeti11
Nail Quinn is a brilliant chairman and I think lots of clubs should be following his example. He is so down to earth as well. A few seasons back he did a tour of loads of working mens clubs round Sunderland and South Shields (where I live) in an attempt to persuade people to come back and buy season tickets. Couldnt see Bain doing anything like that.
