Amac9
Left midfield. At LB he looked a bit dodgy for me. But that goal at Parkhead

MarkyMitch
I thought Vignal was a good left back. Was disappointed when we didn't sign him!
docspiderman
I thought Vignal was a good left back. Was disappointed when we didn't sign him! I am with you on this, very underrated, good defender and going forward and scored a couple of very good goals.
Cumbria_blue
I thought he did quite well at both positions. Think I preffered him at LM with Michael Ball at LB. He was a good player imo, not a world beater, but played his part in winning the title that year

TMWWBK
Far, far better at left mid than he was at left back. He actually linked up well with Michael Ball. A player i could never take to. He suffered from the Davie Weir syndrome of aimlessly hoofing the ball up the park, but then his short passing was equally shit.
kasabian101
Did he not get Man of the match in the Davie Cooper Cup final? He wore the number 7, was immense that day and we won 5 -0? I could be wrong! Was he debut not against liverpool or spurs in a friendly at Ibrox? He came in from nowhere .

Even Mo Ross had a great game at right back! Yeah, made his debut against Spurs. I remember that game well. I went down on one of the Aberdeen supporters buses for it. Some guy on the bus was steaming befroe we even left Aberdeen and spent the whole bus trip down chanting "Maurice Ross, Maurice Ross, Maurice Ross" over and over again. When he got to Glasgow he stuck a £5 bet on him being first goal scorer at about 30/
