No English clubs are proddy mate. They all have mixed supports. That kind of religious divide doesn't really exist down here, though some English clubs undoubtedly are more loyalist than others.

yea i thought that, was jw

West Ham, Chelsea, Millwall. All generally quite loyalist / proud to be British. Religion isnt too much of a factor in the English game though.

I'd add Bolton, Portsmouth and Blackburn to that list. Even Carlisle United have a slight loyalist leaning, especially when I take my Ulster flag to games :D

Forgot about Portsmouth, good shout :pipe: Mad bastards though Portsmouth fans. Blackburn and Bolton are all above the North circular, so i would be unable to place them on a map :craphead:

Lot of people think Liverpool/Everton are a Protestant/catholic split, but they've both got Methodist backgrounds.

Alot of people say this because until 10 years ago, outside of Glasgow and Belfast, Liverpool had the biggest population of Orangemen and woman.

Liverpool were originally a Protestant club but over the years the support has become much more diverse and now there is no real national or religious identity among either of the Merseyside clubs. Liverpool fans see the club as a religion of it's own, much like we do i suppose.
