Having just seen the thread about Mo Ross taking his footballing talents to Turkey ( how apt ) it reminded me how feckin brutal he was for us.

But then i will always remember him for scoring in the 2005 C.I.S cup final (cooper final) and i suppose every player, even the very worst,

have their moment in the sun. For example, bible berts screamer v the tims semi final 2002 , bo andersons double new year old firm 1997 (?).

Does anyone else have any memories of any less than memorable gers players having one glorious game or goal?

Svensson had a very good game in the 1-1 game against Celtic. He got MOTM aswell IIRC.

Not a flop or a bad player by any means, but who would have expected Tony Vidmar to cut inside Luigi Sartor and crash a stunner past Gigi Buffon in the Parma game?

Emerson in the 4-0 demolition of Hearts at Tynecastle near the start of season 03-04. Outstanding.

Karl Svensson in Le Guen's last Old Firm game. He was a rock at the back and was unlucky not to score. We should have destroyed them that day.

Flo with his back heel in his first OF game - may even have been his bedut - class! But what happened after that!

Scott Nisbett against Steau Bucharest (I think) - great (but fluke) goal.

Broadfoot on his debut for Scotland - scoring!!

29 goals in 53 games (tu)

VS Brugges I think. Absolutely incredible goal!

Can't find a vid of it but it's definitely worth watching if you aren't familiar with it

Yeah I remember that goal, a one-off goal! I have seen some videos of it online but can't remember where.

Couldn't find 92/93 goal but this was similar!

Christian Nerlinger when he scored that one goal he scored for us. Or did he score two? I forget.

Vignal was pretty decent player, but when he scored that goal against Celtic he was a hero
