WALTER SMITH believes a huge decision may have prevented Rangers from securing a pivotal win over Celtic today but accepts that his side probably only deserved a draw

I believe the huge decision was yours Walter. You cost us that game when you showed the tims fear. We shouldn't have to rely on a penalty to beat such a shite Celtc team.

Please, just leave now and take your useless management team with you.

I guess Walter was too eager to get home for his tea than get involved in the last minutes of a game he took so little to do with and evidently a draw was all he was hoping for. In that case let someone with more heart take the job and the paycheck that goes with it. I.M.O. the points were there for the taking we don't have time or the interest in Walter's drawn out strategies.

I don't understand how achieving a draw at Parkhead would result in you asking for Smith to go.

We played 4-4-2 at Ibrox remember, with goal machine Kris Boyd playing, and we lost 1-0, the first time in 8 or 9 Old Firm games we'd failed to score a goal.

4 points at Parkhead this season is outstanding.

This Celtic team are NOT good and we showed them and Aberdeen far too much credit and paid with it with four lost points.

Have guts Walter and really go all out for the title.

We aren't a great team ourselves.

Celtic may be poor, but they have a team capable of ripping you apart on their day and are Champions of Scotland for the last 3 years.

So it's not the winning that counts, just the taking part?

I aggree it would be a great result to take away from the piggery if it was against a strong, in-form celtic team we were up against but are we're kidding ourselves that points dropped now won't haunt us towards the end of the season?

This may be heresy, but I honestly don't know how anyone couldv'e watched that rubbish and still say we were the better team overall. It was a game of 2 Halfs - they ruled the first, we were better in the second. Pretty evenly matched, and both teams pretty underwhelming.

Any manager worth their salt could have seen after about 60 minutes (if not before) that Celtic were there for taking today and acted accordingly. I can understand (even if I don't agree with it) his decision to start the match with a cautious approach but by not trying to be more attacking with his substitutions is just unacceptable as far as i'm concerened. To swap pretty much like for like and continue to play with only one up top when we started to dominate the game just further highlights Walter and his negative, out-dated attitude !

Taxi for Smith !!

they dominated the first half so they were hardly there for the taking based on the first half, in the second half we were dominant so why would we change it?

there is no way we should be playin it again, we are better than the rest and we no it,

we just need to start games alot better and get the games done before half time!!!!

we've got kilmarnock (h) hamilton (a) inverness (h) & st mirren (a) hearts (h) all before the end of march

and i think going with 4-4-2 will get us maximum points

The worry is that septic may have better form going into the next OF game and we then rue the chance we had today to move ahead of them ... very often fortune does favour the brave and you have to take your chances when they are there
