Tontospal
Another tame affair and poor atmosphere. How much of it is down to the 12.30 kick offs or the PC society we now live in. Oh for the old days with 20,000 bears standing behind the goal.

Oh for the old days with 20,000 bears standing behind the goal. I wouldnt blame the kick off time for lack of atmosphere, its because the celtic fans went and complained about the big bad rangers fans and their songs that has killed the atmosphere. When The Billy Boys got belted out at Celtic Park it made the hair on your neck stand up, now we have to make do with rippin the pish out fat borat et all
rossDas
I hate 12:30 kick off times. Especially when our fans are expected to travel to Inverness and Aberdeen.
scott316
couldnt agree more, i was working today and you know i hadnt been interested in any build up, and never thought about the game once today 'till i was told the final score, i even forgot the game was happening ! getting worse and worse. the atmosphere is dying which i blame in part too to the banning of songs. no banter anymore. a lot boils down to Walter Smith as well, Rangers are total shite to watch and there's absolutely no excitement or enjoyment in watching them. its actually more relief when they win than enjoyment cause it's always a scruff game or they play rotten defensive football. TunnyLoyal
I don't mind 12:30 kick off's usually as you get back early from the away trip to get a few pints in the boozer back home. I would agree that old firm's are crap at 12:30 though, not the same.

J_RFC87
It isn't much of a deterrent either. We were getting pished at the back of 8 this morning. If they made it later, just means a few extra hours sleep until the boozing begins.

Why don't we stop after every throw in or by kick and play adverts, call me crazy but that would be great.

blyth
Call me crazy, but an Old Firm match played at night under the lights would be amazing I would be until that filthy bastard Hesselink scores in the last minute to give those cunts the win! The last evening Old Firm game at Ibrox I can remember was the one when Shota scored the winner in Extra Time. Think Alex Rae was Man of the Match.
