Boyd - Rotten against anyone half decent.

Lafferty - Can't decide what position he plays.

The rest, quite frankly, are horrendous. I'd sack the lot of them. We're so impotent up front that it's actually embarrassing.

i think it would be ridiculous to sell him for £2M given the 20% fee we stand to lose and past offers for him, I agree with mendes, i thought davis was working hard all over the park to babysit our whole midfield and compensate for whittaker, cant blame him, I said the same about papac after the game at parkhead and was quickly told that he was told to stay back, was that the same today?

Everyone knows how useless Boyd is when he's playing up front alone (which was the role he 'kinda' went into when he went on) and just how turgid he is. As soon as that changed was made, they pushed up and there was really nothing to aim for down the flanks nevermind through the centre.

Boyd's introduction cost us the game, it was an idiotic change from Smith.

Mendes was poor....But I knew he was playing today. He tackled, he intercepted 2 cut backs which were dangerous and he cleared Glen Loovens effort off the line amongst other things. He didnt cost us the game, he didnt fail to pick up his man.

If Barrys cross was lower Boruc would have grabbed it

I dont expect Boyd to score in the big games and he is not as prolific as he is made out to be. He misses a lot of chances, but if you stand upfront for 90 minutes against lesser teams you will eventually score. Thats not good enough against Celtic, Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen, Motherwell or in Europe.

Also, If you are having a bad game the very least I expect from a player is hard work, effort and determination. Something Mendes gave and Boyd never.

Miller, Lafferty and Novo all managed to see the ball, they were able to get on it and help out when required. How come Boyd never managed to get involved?

Instead of chasing a 10 yard ball, he made Davis run for it, a player who had been running for 75 odd minutes and was 20 odd yards away.

As soon as Boyd came on our limited threat upfront dissappeared and McManus and Loovens realised this and pushed further up the park. Boyd got pulled up for numerous fouls and still hasn't learned the offside rule.

Even after all that has gone on this week, he still didn't burst a gut - McCoist went mental at him for not tracking back after losing the ball - he's a lazy bastard.

I don't rate any of our strikers, Lafferty is the best out of a horendous bunch and he still get's hung out on the left.
