Poor set pieces

I was shocked to see Coisty put 11 players in our box to defend Forfar's freekicks and corners.

Has he never heard of the counter attack?

I probably sound like a grumpy old cunt 99% of the time on RM, but surely Beasley, Naismith and Miller would have been better served sitting on the edge of the box waiting for a McGregor catch and throw?

Against a slow Forfar side, it would surely have worked.

/Rant.

It puts us so deep and invites absolute dross like Forfar on to us.

It's incredibly naive. I'm no manager and never will be, but you don't need to be an expert to see that it's an awful tactic.

A good few more blunder type tactics too.

Can we ever gain anything from a throw in?

Can we ever take a LONG throw into THEIR penalty box?

Can our defenders ever punt the ball to Rangers player? (again missing out our midfield)

Watching Rangers and watching the Edmonton Oilers is actually a very very similar experience at the moment. With both clubs you have a few players who you know should do much better, but sometimes don't deliver. You have a few favourites who are obviously on the teamsheet in permanent marker. You have a number of players who look little more than lost and disoriented.
