  1. Well done guys. It has got to the stage that even if writing an email to someone is something you would never do before, we now all have to do it. If we put the pressure on for equality, it will get to the stage that it reaches a critical mass and something will have to be done.
  2. what do you mean mate Basically all form of banter, laughter, freedom of speech and expression isn't to be tolerated. We become the a docile souless entity. Football will die a death. I hope the tarriers are happy. I agree with what you are saying Jiminez. In an ideal world it would not be good to complain about what others do. But, we cannot make the waterfall run uphill. The current climate is that Rangers are to blame for all sectarianism and offensive behaviour. If we do not widen the debate to encompass everyone (as it does) then we will be left with children scared to support Rangers because they are told by educators, politicians and the media that we are the bad people. The question remains, do the sectarian crusaders want zero tolerance? If so then do it for all. If not shut up. If we remain on the defensive we are finished.
  3. The only way for Rangers fans to respond is to DEMAND zero tolerance for all. If we defend certain songs we can get bogged down in the details and it is very hard to defend banter. It can always be taken out of context and be used against you. The best thing to do is write/phone/speak to your MP, MSP, SFA, SPL, NBM and so and DEMAND that they implement what they preach. They continue to come out with the slogan of zero tolerance, so let us see them do it. Pressure them into it - stand up and be counted. We DEMAND that they action the IRA, DOB and h** songs and chants in equal measure. If they don't ask them why? It has come to a stage that even if you would never do such a thing before you have to. I honestly believe the future size and health of our club depends on it. http://thelightblues.com/2008/09/16/ranger...ly-for-rangers/
  4. Haha - No, I still am allowed to visit Murray Park. (If the rumours are to be believed!)
  5. Hi folks, I wrote the article and just want to say hello. I will be writing an article a week for RM and I am glad some of you enjoyed the first one. Cheers, John_G
  6. Boruc made the ham-shank sign. It was NOTHING to do with blessing himself. Healey mimicked a flute. Are we honestly saying that pretending to play a musical instrument should be any concern of the law?
  7. I PM'd the writer of "Rangers FC and Tradition"- redrock - but as yet have had no reply. Could he or anyone else answer the following please? He said: "We all know the time set traditions of our great club and how and why the club was formed." What did he specifically mean by that? What traditions? Also he said: "Having been one who chanted from the terraces ( without understanding ) I am now saddened that in this modern era that my children are exposed to this meaningless vile chanting when they visit Ibrox with me [...] I ask you all if we live in a world where this extremism is allowed and accepted, then what right do we have to demand better for future generations and for our children?" What are these vile chants that he hears at Ibrox? What is this extremism? I think when we blame the club and support we have to be specific in what we mean. Thanks PS Rangers knew Alex Ferguson was married to a Catholic before he even signed so can we put that myth to bed please.
