    Willie Henderson's saddest day

    Don't remember seeing a lot of Willie Henderson but remember when we signed Tommy McLean (£60,000 from Kilmarnock).

    McLean took a lot of stick for years from quite a few gers fans after he signed (very unfairly imo) which I could not figure at the time, but was the fact he replaced wee Wullie Henderson perhaps part of the reason ?

    McLean was afraid of being tackled. He used to jump over defenders to avoid a tackle, much to the derision of the fans. Then, according to an article in the papers, he began car sharing with Tam Forsyth. Tam gave him a few lessons in how to dish it out as much as take it and Wee Tommy became an evil wee bastard almost overnight. :pipe:

    Maybe the rules should be changed similar to Gridiron where a guy can come on and take a freekick/corner then fucks off again back to the bench. :pipe:

    If only...

    McCulloch and Mohsni would only be on for corners as well. :wink:

    John Greig was and will always be the best - His stint as manager wasnt not his fault he hadnt done it before

    Ally unfortunately but has won two titles so our former hero has ally ahead . :mccoist:

    John Greig though has captained his club to its greatest ever victory in europe

    and his picture on the runway in spain is iconic.

    Great ambassador for the club (moshni should ask for tips )

    John Greig managed the team in the top league though. Ally's team is facing sparks and plumbers every week.

    Greig also took us to the quarter finals of the European Cup in his first season after hanging up his boots. Plus he knew how to win domestic cup competitions, two Scottish Cups and two League Cups.

    Definitely not the worst manager we've had. (tu)

    charlie green was an asset stripper like whyte and he took us in like whyte and wlked away with a large wedge justn like whyte he never put his own money up it was other peoples cash as for saving us he rode off and never looked back...con man 1st degree.

    I thought asset stripping meant breaking a company up into little parts and selling them at a profit.

    Under Green we bought the Albion and Edmiston House. Surely that makes him an asset acquirer?

    Ally's public outburst was a disgrace. It smacks of self-preservation rather than anything else. Ally needs to remember that he is an employee, not the owner or God of Ibrox. He gets paid £750k a year and Green was correct that we should expect the league and a cup win (probably Ramsdens). What does Ally think he gets paid for? If I was in the same position as Green I would be absolutely livid at Ally's outburst. We have posters on RM and every other forum, etc who believe that having bought a season ticket or a replica shirt or simply support the team that gives them the right to criticise anyone. That is fair enough, so has Green got the same rights.

    I liked 90% of what Green achieved and was disappointed with the remainder. I don't know what schemes Green, P Murray or whoever have in mind therefore until I have something more than rumour, I will desist from criticising. What I will say is that P Murray and his "people" should openly state what their grievances are. There is far too much innuendo with no hard facts.

    Someone on Twitter tonight asked if this could be the first time that a football manager should be replaced with the club chairman. Now, Ally McCoist is one of my heroes, but I actually think Charles Green could replace him and produce a tactically better team.

    well I hope all goes well, please don't get yourself in any trouble BT, they'll turn it on us ..ive read one or 2 of your posts and you can be quite articulate...stick to your guns, go for him good and proper but remember, your representing all of us...non of this squatting or nada shit will do on this occasion!

    Although squatting on his face, resulting in nada oxygen for him should sort out the cunt.
