I have been really impressed with Morelos in the last few games. He is still pretty raw interms of his overall game but he's still only 21 or something.

I really like how he finds the net without doing anything spectacular, just a bit of movement and Boof, in the net. His hold up play and aerial ability are also very good.

Now im not directly comparing him to Kris Boyd because he obviously more mobile and quicker etc but im sensing early on that he has that 'goal out of nothing' trait that Boyd had, we have been lacking that for years now.

Can people stop speaking about Boyd and McCoist? At their peaks these guys scored a lot of goals playing in better teams. They had an eye for goal, yes, but they both had other strikers to feed off and to chip in with the odd goal. Wouldn't mind seeing Alfie alongside Hateley......

  2. please please please

rangers are not a 'huge' club like some people like to say.

we are an instiution whereby the followers are drawn to the history of the greatest man-made entity that Scotland has ever known!

There was one time where we walked down the Glasgow Green parks and watched our favourite football team, now we make our pilgrimage to the COPLAND ROAD, our homage to this great fooball team will live forever, and its leged will live on!

  3. as a 'share holder' of 20 years (aged 25) I have to agree with previous posters I don't want to pledge all my hard-earned cash and know noting of how the money is spent!

i think we need some form of fan's representatives which exist as a sort of intermediate board, they look after the fans and their best interests and feedback into the offical board!

    what do yous guys think?

could we arrange for a select few to act as middle men between the board and the fans?

no more businees chat, no more lies, no more annual reports which mean nothing to the normal man on the street?

do we need tom, dick and harry on a fans 'board'?

or is the great escape going to happen without them?

    p.s.

how good was nicki jelavic tonight?

he took his goal like a WC sriker and played like Kaboul wasn't on the park?

    best wishes to him!

  4. I was wondering as I pinched myself over the signing of Jelavic where the £5-6M we've spent so far has come from.

I'd hate to think we were getting led into a false sense of security and at the last minute we lost one of our big names!

listening to the mhanks talking on real radio last night they're trying to conjure up some stories about Davis, McGregor or Boogie being sold to fund Walters spending.

    does anyone see this happening?

and if so who could we afford to lose and still win the SPL?

  5. If you think he is good it tells you the state of Scottish football.

everybodys entitled to their opinion after all we need to remember that Papac is a centre half.

i think we made a huge mistake in letting Stevie Smith go this summer. Ok he hasn't captured the same form he showed before his injury but he never got a 2nd chance! Walter played him on the left side of the midfield which he looked like a fish out of water in. a cultured left foot and a hard tackler - i would've signed him on for another year.

as for CBs i think we're falling over them right now:

    Weir

    Boogie

    Webster

    McCulloch

    Edu

    Papac

    Broadfoot

all can do a job in the SPL at least!

Big Lee showed he can do a job in CL also last season!

  6. my opinion of big lee won't change granted its not his fault walter picks him but he does us no favours by getting booked almost every game! Apologies for the sandy shaws bit but we can't keep substituting quality on the pitch for the guy being a bluenose

  7. I've given more to Rangers this year than at any year, any fan who withdraws money from the Club betrays the Club; how else does the Club survive without the money of those who CAN pay but don't? Forget about punishing Murray, when will people realise that Murray is not Rangers? Rangers is DISTINCT from Murray- a post like this turns my stomach. Willie Waddell decared, and I know this from research into the Club's history, 'people think Rangers are a big club because we have a big number of fans, no, Rangers is a big club because it "thinks big"'- if you can't 'think big' about this club, and remember Mr Waddell(who I am not old enough to know about first hand) said these words as Celtic were going about their nine-in-a-row), then you are betraying EVERYTHING this Club stands for. Success doesn't make us big, players don't make us big, Rangers as an entity are big already- The Rangers win as a result of 'thinking big', even through trial and adversity. When the Ibrox Disaster happened the club built a state of the art stadium, amid adversity the club won a European trophy, when we have had financial troubles we have won two titles in-a-row and got to a European Final, why?-because we 'think big'.

you should be on a horse addressing us with your face painted blue and white!!

  8. Hutts,

I think instead of buying the 3 tickets, strips and nice new picture for the backroom, you should be continuing to walk around garden centres with your wife on a Saturday or whatever it is you've been doing for the past 6 months.

We real fans who buy season tickets 2 months before the transfer window even opens, are supporters of a football club and a way of life!

for most its a case of supporting Rangers as a whole and not any individual players, managers or owners!

    your post belongs on FF!

  9. The lad has skill and ability in abundance , its his small stature that worries me although his loan spell last season in the championship will have helped

    He's 6ft2.

i may have confused him with Sanchez Watt <cr>

    Sanchez watt is black! lol

  10. no.

i take it you rate him highly :craphead:

Its not his football skills thats the problem it's his attitude.

he is a violent thug and not the type of man i want to see playing for my football team.

yeah tbh i didnt think of that. his footballing skills arent bad but his attitude, i wouldnt like him in our team either incase he has an affect on our growing talents through the youth system.

the only affect he would have is blinding one of them with his King Eddie! An absolute beast of a man (using the term loosely) that should never have been allowed to play again! The guy's had more chances than the monopoly man and time after time he bites the hands that feed him!

    rant over! :P

  11. I was saying that to my flatmate, fly to dublin then on from there with Aer Lingus, they have pretty cheap flights and ryanair to dublin is cheap as fuck too. How well a load of Rangers fans at Dublin airport will go down is anyones guess :pipe:

went to barcelona via dublin on the cheap! "We're not Brazil we're Northern Ireland" ringing round the departure lounge!

  12. poor aiden, he's going to have to live with those rodent like features and scrunched up coupon for the rest of his life! at a time like this we should all pitty that little jumped up mickey bstard.......... aye right!!

TELL EVERY TIM THAT YOU KNOW, THAT WE SHAT ON THEIR 4 IN A ROW!!

    WATP!

  13. They don't deserve our support after that pish.

I'd go as far to say that they need to totally earn it all over again. I'm mentally exhausted following this side, the continual disappointment has made me a complete moody bastard in other areas of life.

Smith's rotten tactics have made me become more cynical. It's no longer a joy to be a Rangers fan, it's (sadly) becoming more of a job that I'm emotionally blackmailed into.

tell you what Papa, how's about you stop going to the games then?!

    This is our team!

A team we have all been brought up to support and love!

Nowhere is it written that the team need to earn our support!

We should be thankful that we've been raised to support the Rangers!

If you're not willing to go as a supporter then look for the critics entrance at Ibrox! Or better still don't waste your time and take up golf!

I'm sick and fed up of hearing people moaning about this and that! We're all disappointed, we're all hurting and we're all sick and tired of watching the same stuff! But do you think these players are going to step up their game for fans that call them useless cunts?! NO!

I'm seeing it less and less at the Brox when we go a goal down the fans getting behind the team! What happened to the days of the opposing fans celebrations being drowned out by 'the cry was no surrender"?!

Instead all the players get is torrents of abuse!

I say we all get behind our players and give them a taste of what its really like to play for the FAMOUS GLASGOW RANGERS!!

Given that we're still selling Ibrox out every week, even though the football we're being subject to is possibly the worst to watch in the SPL, the fans have done more than enough.

I'm not sticking my head in the sand mate, not again. I've drastically cut down the number of games I go to this season simply because I'm not happy with what I'm seeing, and I will no longer continue to contribute large sums of my hard earned cash to this group of failures.

Maybe if the fanbase started speaking up instead of sitting on their hands, you might see some change at Ibrox.

No offence mate, but Murray, Smith, McCoist and Ferguson with his clique must love fans like you. Fans that are always happy, even when we're continually let down.

If you want to claim ignorance to that, then batter in. I'm not buying it again and I won't until we see change.

Rangers don't need your hard-earned copper mate, you'd be better sitting in the house!

I take it you won't be re-newing you season ticket then!?

  14. What happened here is a disgrace and no bear should excuse it.

I hope they find the culprit as he has done nothing but embarrass the rest of us with their antics. Disgraceful.

No matter Boruc's own questionable behaviour we shouldn't lower ourselves to that level.

So, where did you see this was done by a Bear ?

Seeing as how you find it to affect us...

Perhaps, given the lack of details, I've been a bit premature to blame a Rangers fan but it would be remiss of us not to criticise the attack and accept the likely background of the perpetrator.

The same rule of thumb was applied in the case of Poor little Alfie! Now he'll be paying Child Support til he's at least 15! - No more Pokemon cards for him!
