  1. Got tweet from skysports earlier saying Ryan McGivern is going back to city and there is a Scottish clubs interested in loaning him! Didn't say who like just Scottish clubs!

Skysports.com understands Manchester City are set to recall Ryan McGivern from his loan spell at Walsall.

Northern Irelandinternational McGivern joined Walsall in the summer on a season-long loan deal.

The 21-year-old is thought to be keen on cutting the loan short after an indifferent time at the League One strugglers.

The news of McGivern's recall has alerted a number of interested clubs with some League One and SPL teams monitoring situation.

City are thought to be prepared to loan out the full-back again so that he can continue his development with regular first-team action.

  8. Rangers vs Hearts at Ibrox Stadium, Saturday March 21, 2009. Kick-off 3:00 PM.

After losing to Inverness CT we find ourselves trailing Celtic yet again at the top of the SPL by 3 points. We have 60 points from 28 games compared to their 63 points, but we have a better goal difference with +37 to their +35.

Well its been a bad time with a loss to ICT in the SPL at Ibrox and a loss to Celtic in the Cooperative Cup Final with only a win over Hamilton in between to cheer us up. The level of application and skill has been very poor. On top of that we have injuries and suspensions to take care of.

Against Hearts we have D. Weir suspended and Bougherra and Broadfoot are struggling to be fit. In fact Broadfoot took pain injections in his foot in order to play vs Celtic last Sunday. If they do not make it we have two from Daily, McCulloch and Edu to choose from. Not a happy thought.

Walter should think positively and go for an attacking team. Every time we have been cautious and played one up front we have only dropped points and lost a Final and scored ZERO goals.

We are at home and must put pressure on Hearts. Play at least one proper winger and two up front.

If we are fortunate both Broadfoot and Bougherra should play.

If so then the team should be McGregor, Whittaker, Broadfoot, Bougherra, Papac, Davis, Ferguson, Mendes, Beasley, Lafferty and Novo/Miller.

Boyd may start, but it is unlikely after his spat with Walter.

Aaron or Fleck may get a start too.

Nevertheless whoever plays - Rangers as a team must show some pace, passion and guts and really go all out for a win. If we lose this game the SPL is over and we are in really big trouble.

This game is huge. Losing just does not bear thinking about. The question is does Walter and the team have the bottle to play hard and win this game?

After Kaunas, St. Mirren and ICT and Celtic recently my gut says NO.

If both Broadfoot and Bougherra are injured then we are in big trouble in defence.

We are slow and predictable most games too. I expected Mendes to be a big player vs Celtic but was bitterly disappointed. We lack any flair if Mendes and Davis are below par and both were extremely poor versus Celtic. Broadfoot played injured in the Cup Final and McGeadie showed up his lack of pace. If he and Daily/McCulloch team up the lack of pace is frightening. Walter may play someone like Edu in front of them. Then we have only one up front. That is frightening too.

Overall I hope Bougherra is fit as he adds so much to this team. Sadly from past experience he is a very slow healer.

My prediction is a 1-1 draw, but I expect to be proved wrong when Rangers rise to the occasion and beat Hearts and we put Celtic under pressure before their game at Dundee United on Sunday.

C'mon Walter fire these players up on Saturday and let's for once get going right away and make Hearts chase the game from an early stage.

Thats wat he needs to do mate! i fancy a win for the gers! has to be 2 up top!! Cum on da fuck rangers!

  9. My Gers club r cumin over for this and staying over! good night in the town after we beat hearts! Their strike force is grim! Shud be a free 1 for us! but the heads mite be dropped after sunday! Thats up to walter to get them going again! so i dont really no how we r gonna cum out and play! Cum on the gers lets get the league FFS!!
