  1. Well I heard 3 weeks ago that Ellis was a stooge for Murray . He doesn`t want people to see the books and what he`s been up too.

I fear we will have him for a lot longer .

the group would have known ages ago about ellis`s motives.

maybe the group knew he was a stooge.

Why on earth would Smith sign a contract with rangers knowing the guy who put us in the grubber is still there ?

there is far to much info hidden by the board.

I think that is why he did sign said contract as he knew sir dave was still going to be at the helm.

  2. The Disdain shown on here for Boydy is pretty sad to be honest.

Considering how much we paid for him and the return we got on the pitch why all the bile?

Good luck to the guy, He'll always get a round of applause from me if I see him on a pitch again.

What he says.............probably the best post in the thread

  3. BF was a favourite player of mine at the time and was sad to see him go, but wished him all the best. My thinking at the time was he signed that contract in some sort of arrangement not that long before he left

Boyd was getting punted out the door not so many months ago, maybe that was part of his decison to leave and now he's leaves for free, i'm sad to see him go but i wish him all the best wherever he goes and we move on.

  4. I think he's looked good at times too few right enough,he's need to bring consistency as well up his game and maybe he will in a central role, but it looks like Lafferty will get the nod  which i'd like to see for a run of games anyway.Naismith has to keep working away trying to improve and impress when and where he plays, you could say that about most of the squad....

  5. I'd take Zola as a coach.

His work alongside Pierluigi Casiraghi with the Italy U-21 side was absolutely fantastic (tu)

He's not a manager. Some people are just better suited to being 'number 2', Steve Clarke and Archie Knox are just two examples.

Walter Smith could be another one for your list. Great at building team spirit, found lacking when it comes to tactical matters.
