  1. All this paranoia from the filth has actually calmed my nerves for Sunday as i know now that we will go out and prove that we are worthy winners after all the ridiculous quotes. They really do make me laugh.

  2. Former Celtic star Paddy Crerand has described Rangers as "dreadful" and branded Ibrox defender Kirk Broadfoot a "Junior" player.

Crerand played for the Parkhead club in the early 60s before joining Manchester United, where he was part of the Old Trafford side which won the European Cup in 1968 against Benfica at Wembley.

The former Scotland international keeps a keen eye on the Hoops, although he is still based in England and scoffed at suggestions that Celtic had blown their chances of retaining the Scottish Premier League title by only drawing against Dundee United at Tannadice on Sunday when a win would have taken them five points clear of the Light Blues.

Pointing back to last week's Co-operative Insurance Cup final between Celtic and Rangers at Hampden in which the Parkhead side deservedly won 2-0 after extra-time, Crerand was scathing of Walter Smith's side and of Broadfoot in particular.

"Celtic will win the title," he told Talk Sport. "I watched the League Cup final between Celtic and Rangers last week and Rangers were dreadful.

"Who is that player Kirk Broadfoot? He should be playing Junior (non-league) football.

"You've got to ask, is that how far Rangers have gone down if he is playing for them?

"But when you look back to the Scottish players in my day, then the standard of football up there is dreadful."

I really hope this comes back to bite him in the ass and spur us on to win the title

  3. Did u see in the paper they only gave hutton a 5 saying he was poor. What a joke. He never misplaced a pass all night. As for Caldwell how dare that tim wear our barrys number 6. What a disgrace.
    From the game:

    - Some ball from Fletcher for the goal
    - Pearson and Caldwell were hopeless
    - Kenny Miller remembered he has no first touch and inability to turn with his back to goal
    - McManus and Anderson were poor first half, Anderson got better but McManus poor marking and positioning nearly cost another goal
    - Robson looked good when he came on
    - Why Teale even exists let alone continues to play baffles me
    - Fair do's McEveley played well last night, as did Hutton

    (tu)

Bit harsh on the defending thoughh, McManus and Anderson done reasonably well.

Well done admitting McEveley played fairly well :cooll:

  4. I know a lot of mates who used to play with hutton and maybe he's pish at defending because he used to be an awesome striker as a youngster. So i've been told anyway that he never played in defence before until he went to rangers

  5. Although pleased with the performance and result yesterday I was hoping we would ank them 5 or 6 nil to shut their fans up.When they start chanting "you're gonna win f*** all" its so ironic since they actually NEVER win anything(class response to that one from the gers support though)Also the day before the game I saw a link on here to a Hibs forum (cant rmember where) quoting Kevin Thomson as saying something along the lines of "if hibs win two trophys this season I wouldnt be able to help feeling a bit jealous" fair enough. Some muppet hibee then said "Well you gave up that right when u left easter rd" i.e u will win nothing with rangers...Where do these morons opinions come from?Do they actually beleve hibs are a more successful club than us?

Mate to be fair every supporter of their own team have far more great expectations and biased views. The thing is the stats don't lie we are one of the most successful clubs in the world. They were obviously looking for a reaction. It does annoy me though how fans can sing we're gonna win feck all considering we have a good chance in the uefa cup.

  6. I really don't know what to think either seems to me that we're kept in the dark about everything SDM is turning this club into a joke. The way we conduct ourselves in the transfer market is shocking i'm sure we can afford the players that we are linked with, but seem to be putting crappy offers in and letting other teams gain interest.

  7. Well we're going to have to get used to struggling past teams for the rest of this season my friend cos our squad is no way strong enough to go out and pummel every team in the league that we want to. Its a harsh reality that we just arent the greatest anymore.
