  1. Where can I buy a London Somme Association polo shirt, lads?

    in the Glaswegian tomorrow night

Unfortunately I have a lodge meeting tomorrow night and won't make it along.

Do they have a website I can buy one from?

Sorry mate, don't have a clue, my wee mate plays with the Somme Volunteers FB, also a member of the London Somme Association, i'll phone him tomorrow as i'll not make it to the function, and try and find out.

  2. A few of us are coming down from Duke Street, should be a great night, I wonder if david''bhoy''rennie75 will show his face

Never even heard of this member until now.

    What has he been saying?

He's just a twat thats forever slatting the Glaswegian, one of his posts he was wanting to know how it hasn't been shut down

  3. Can heartily recommend the Glaswegian and Annie Millers after visiting those 2 fine hostelries on Saturday.

I'd also like to thank any members of the Queen Street True Blues for a wonderfully warm welcome into their cracking, immaculate little club (tu)

I've been in their club but have since been told by a friend who is a member of the QSTB that their club "The Unit" got busted?

''The Unit'' which doubles up as their ticket office got a clean bill of health from the Police and GCC once a few minor adjustments were made to the building

  4. Get yourself along to the Louden at Kinning Park mate, about 5 minutes fast walk along Paisley Road West then up to the left when you see the District Bar. Crackin atmosphere and sausage rolls & sandwiches at HT (tu)

Avoid the Stadium Bar at all costs, its right next to the ground but its an utter toilet. Saw a guy chunder all over the bar once and they just left it.

Wouldn't give the Scottish Nationalist custodian or should that be comedian of the self proclaimed 'Greatest Pub In The World'' a penny,Happy to take your money, but hell mend you if you fancy a wee sing song. And as for sausage rolls and sandwiches, he can stick them where the sun doesn't shine.

 wooft! You know somethin i dont mate. I only pop into the Louden after games, and used to go for the odd away game if i stayed over at the missus'.

But if im not at the away games now i watch them at my local - the Ally Bar in Duke Street! (tu) Nice pic.

Just ask some of the regulars in the Ally Bar mate, about a certain publican on Duke Street, it's not happy hearing  trust me

  5. Jumping on your thread here but any pubs open before 12:30 in Glasgow worth going to and near the centre or at leat a tube station?

Or will it be getting drunk on the train and having a wee party up some dodgy ally?

Don't think their will be any pubs open before 12:30 mate, your best chance might be a Masonic or Bowling club, and if their is any pubs open please remember to keep it off public forums,we don't know who's watching doh

  7.   simply the best, billy boys, king billys on the wall, fuck i need to stop ...

My least favorite by miles is follow follow, i just dont know why, but at Ibrox when the words came up on the screen vs the tims, they did not help ffs love that, and it gave us tight,,, that didn 't help tbh ..

first three songs you mentioned have fuck all to do with Rangers, but the clubs official anthem Follow Follow is your least favorite, strange very strange

  8. Apparently a RSC was set up in Hamburg in the early 70s when a number of Scots worked in Germany under the Guest Worker Programme. It has grown since then. The Albertz connection wouldn't have done it any harm.

The club was formed in the early to mid-70's but registered as an official club in 1977,All the founding members were German. Michael Burzlaff seen here in the middle with the two Rangers legends was the founding member.

The fans on the forum may not have known about the link, but the guys who go to the games certainly do.

    A very much doubt it.

I take your a regular in Hamburg?,probably not,so theirs not much to doubt.!!!

It's Rangers and Scotland for me only, with the correct gentlemanly respect shown to all opposition at home and abroad.

    who are you Andy Cameron

I met an HSV fan in Denmark, apparently they belt out 'HSV-RANGERS-NO SURRENDER' at every home game :D

just a myth mate, would love to hear it,but sadly it's not true

heard there is a few bears buses going over to hamburg for the septic game. anyone going?

    is their, you sure????

  9. Its a great Rangers pub (tu)

The fella that says bheggers inhabit it during the week have you ever been? have you ever set foot in the doors? its no exactly bhegger friendly :D

now the stadium bar that's full of the great unwashed everyday bar matchday :anguish:

If thats aimed at me I was not meaning Celtic fans go in but reffering to some of the Jakeys you occasionally see hanging about Bridge Street like the ones who knocked my mates carry out a month or so ago. I'm sure these people aren't regulars.

quite a few jakey's hang around near Bridge Street, think theirs three or four homeless units around that area

  10. before matchdays its like most rangers boozers but after and during the week it escalates into a haven for the scabs

not surpise daviebhoy made a remark like this after reading this

I really don't like this pub, real bangers inhabit it most of the time

The place is pretty shameless, some on here say it is great but it is a dive similar to a blackpool fun pub

Anyone know when it is shutting?

Here's a wee update on the Glaswegian, and i hope daviebhoyrennie75 takes note,i met big S or (bluevalebomber over on followfollow) earlier to day in Duke Street, the big chap was telling me the the brewers (Rosemount Taverns Ltd.) had a Master of Sound in the pub,and it looks as though work will be carried out to sound proof the Glassy, the noise level was the main issue even though most of the complaints were petty and vindictive.

Hopefully they start work very soon and we see a return of the Flute Bands back into what is without a doubt Glasgow's premier Rangers pub,and who knows maybe a return of DJ Neilly

  11. before matchdays its like most rangers boozers but after and during the week it escalates into a haven for the scabs

utter bolloxs, theirs not chance any of the ''scabs'' would get anywhere near the Glaswegian, 100% bluenose 7 days a week.

davidrennie75, you sir are an idiot of the highest order if you believe that.

  12. Can anyone tell me if the RST have issued (or are going to) a statement regarding the ridiculous decision by ITV not to show any Rangers CL games on "council telly".

Quite a big deal for thousands of supporters who don't have sky.

I can maybe see why the Club aren't getting involved as they want to sell out the ground for the home ties but why are the RST silent on this one?

They can make as many statements as they like, do you think ITV gives a damn
