  1. bears will be arriving from every corner of the globe

will be a fair support as per

lets hope we all behave and the team gives it their best shot .we wont fail through lack of support and if its for us its for us if not there is plenty of business to be taken care of at home .

would rather have a shot in the last sixteen than a guaranteed 2 more games in the uefa cup though.

    in Walter we trust .

manchester-madrid-val-ali-dublin-glasgow-10 day gig - el cheepo - wont be paying silly money for a ticket-

    Cmon the gers.

  2. any proposed devolpment in edinburgh invovling SDM/romanov/edinburgh council/bank investment/sru is complete non starter imo as they all have one thing in common .severe lack of of funds .

As to the area surroundng ibrox look no futher than glasgow council .dont blame rangers

what benifits if any are rangers/sellic going to get from the 2014 games .

  3. these sites always have tickets but at a price .Its legal touting .

thing is when the big gig is " sold out " thats the signal for every man and their dug to want one expecially affluent dudes they only go to sold out gigs what would you say if someone was standing outside the subway with a ticket for the match and you ask " how much m8 ? " and he says " one and a half " ?

you would just laugh at him wouldnt ya ?

to be honest i have never paid or been offered a ticket at more than face value at ibrox ,in fact the very opposite .Remenber one such night many years ago desperately walking round Ibrox looking for a brief for a big european match and there outside the wadell suite is an old man holding up a season book ,how much i asked ? come with me my son ,i dont want your money he says .took me upstairs into a different world ...buffet..comfy seat ..prematch guest speaker...and the old geezer (a gent ) would not under any circumstance take a penny .sort of night that makes you proud to be part of such a great club .

thats why many clubs go to great lenghs to stamp out touting ,it really kills off any chance of face value tickes outside the ground for ordinary punters .

  4. man utd must be getting a large number of tickets .

does anyone know if they are getting the entire BF ?

i have been in the bf for both cl games but am in the rear for the man u game ,would seem they are getting the whole of the front ,might be a bit shity for punters in the front of the rear as the stewards and polis will be all along front of them .

  5. perhaps a stint in jail would help . WHO KNOWS ? one thing for sure he cannot help himself .

needs to dry out and come off the drugs and jail would be an easy way for this process to start .

lets be honest here gazza needs protected from himself ,he is now at rock bottom ,in the gutter .

i would think he might need constant help for many years to get in control ,for him jail could be a new start.

ffs gazza get a grip . you have had all the chances in the world and are now taking the piss .

  6. Weiss is a good young raw talent who should have had more experience in the side prior to such an important C/L fixture or weiss has not featured because wattie don't like a player who could try too hard to impress at the teams expense ?

He looks a skillful player but that alone is not enough .He must learn to use the simple ball when the danger of doing too much could prove costly for the team .Hopefully we can enjoy him and he enjoys his time at rangers. At twenty years old his expected income would not fit into the clubs wage structure let alone the fee so cant see him staying unless he gets bitten by the rangers bug and decides his future is in Scotland and city let him leave for a token fee .

He must realise his inexperience and youthful exuberance are qualities which can be very dangerous .

WOULD RATHER RANGERS SPENT THE MONEY ON KEEPING WATTIE AT THE HELM FOR ANOTHER SEASON tbh.

  7. agree one of the best nights for a long time .Team/tactics/effort all 100% including the fans who played there part big time.Could have been all so different .could have been 2-0 up at ht and could also have been beaten 1-2 right at the death. All in all the sort of game that you cant get enough of .Will leave the cliche overdose for the sports journos and their rags .Feel that Miller looked a tad jaded and not on top forum but he has been a busy bee this season, only criticism is we wasted 4m on the the cure for this . Everyone can take great heart from the night .Win lose or draw Sunday, tonight will be remembered and savoured for a long long time as a great match for all the right reasons .Think a win v bursaspor away and a defeat for valencia v man utd will ensure the champions league tune is heard at least once more at ibrox after Christmas . " bring on the ****** "

  8. Was at the game in Manchester and i found no hostilities around old trafford before the match and was seated in the away end and found no problems during the game .I must admit to having been slightly apprehensive about going into the away section so we kept pretty quiet through the first half but after going for non existent hot food at HT(reminded me of another huge British club where the caterers forget to bring enough pies) it was clear the place was full of bears and the second half was more relaxed on and off the pitch ,whilst taking photos of the superbly behaved jubilant bears in the away end at FT someone decided to throw a lighter (not your 50p refillable i hasten to add ) at us(it was retrieved by me and takes pride of place on the mantelpiece ,i looked round instantly but there was no one claiming responsibility , it was really just an act of childish frustration rather than an act of aggression ,my main worry before the game was that the general feeling amongst the Manchurians might be that we as Rangers and Scottish fans disrespected them and there fine city in 2008 at the uefa cup final (those that did have been punished ),although we did let ourselves down they understood there was mitigating circumstances and they have on the whole forgiven us , i very much doubt the people of Manchester are planing to come to Glasgow on a revenge mission ,no chance, the police will ensure there is limited opportunity for the moronic element which every club has to kick off and spoil the night for the vast majority which are only interested in the football, lets hope if there is any trouble the police do not shy away from it .

    as to the quote .

Eleven of the troublemakers were jailed by a judge who described the events as "the worst night of

violence and destruction suffered by Manchester city centre since the Blitz.

my learned friend should hang his heed in shame.
