  1. Well, you just showed how much of a Rangers fan you really are. Such a fantastic way to make a fool of yourself. Tomorrow Bougherra could sign for Celtic and you, im sure, would happily follow them after. Which is nothing else but stupid, childish and pathetic. But dont forget that its Rangers who made your hero who he is today. Otherwise you would've been fan of some League One or Championship team at best.

I'm not scottish, at first, it was the rangers fans' kindness, their lovely way to always stay behind their team and above all, the way they esteem bougherra and supported him even though he is "Algerian" made no difference,

I become fan of Rangers Fc because of that, now all that is gone along with me. I am not in love with Bougherra (I'm straight btw) to follow him wherever he goes ;)

ps: We all agree that rangers made him, but you have to admit that he played a major role in getting 3 titles in a row.

  2. why all the insultes for ? I truly have no respect for you guys. The player has the right to care for his future and his financial situation, both the club and bougherra showed they didn't want to deal with each other anymore. Madjid said the ofrer din't suit him for the reasons we know, not sure how can this be disrespectful to the club ...

This translation is incomplete, he gave more details to our newspaper. I intended to give you the whole article ever since I read it but when I see all the hate I guess I'd be translation in vain.

I enjoyed suporting rangers this two past years, amazing club, was all pleasure. however, I'm no longer a rangers fan , I'm leaving with Bouggy that fat punk as you please to call him, Goobye =)

  3. I said he was motivated IMO by fame and money.

Not playing at a high level.

He'll get more fame and more money playing in Qatar.

    For the reasons I gave.

So I'm not sure what you're disagreeing with me about.

about fame, he'll not get famous there. People watch european football rather than Qatari.

  4. Aaah sorry, I didn't understand you properly.

Yes the fans should be very grateful to Bougherra because he made losing Cuellar feel like no big deal and was as important as any other player in winning 3 in a row.

    (tu)

ps that defener you linked in the youtube video looks very good. How much do you reckon he would cost?

yes, he is. I have no idea about how much he would cost, but sure thing, he's not expensive just like all african players.

but I know that Fulham payed 1,8 million € 3 years for Halliche, bring him he'll made losing bouggy nothing but history ;)

  5. I'm happy for him and I'm grateful for what he done for us.

But he should be even more grateful for what we done for him as should every Algerian fan because we re-ignited his career and put him on the map.

I'm just a bit annoyed he didn't do a Goodwillie and sign an extension so we could have got more money for him.

I agree. When I said "you" I meant the fans. Rangers payed him, and offered him his chance to improve and shine, doesn't have to be grateful or anything but the fans should.

I watched rangers play, and I don't think the 40 years old CB who plays aside bouggy can handdle the defence with broadfoot. You have to bring a young and gifted defender right away, an african one so you don't pay a lot of money

Mehdi Benatia, morrocan defender, 24 y old, he's as good as bouggy

    a randm video

or Rafik Halliche 24 y old, Algerian, he played with bouggy in the world cup, he did well too. Fulham's coach put him at the bench cause the club has brilliant defeners such as "Hughes" and some others. The club may release him.

as for bouggy, his career is unfortunately over

  6. he's also our best CB in our national team, but the middle east wont make him a better defender like rangers did during the past 3 years. So I bet we will look for a replacement, it wont be easy though, if he wasn't there we would not get to the world cup, thanks big man ^^. Rangers should do the same, you should be grateful just the way he is to the club and everyone is happy ^^

for 28 years old to go to the middle east, it's quite a shame.

  7. Blanc bewildered by Bougherra's Rangers stay

Former Bordeaux manager Laurent Blanc says he expected Madjid Bougherra to join him in France last season and maintains the Algerian can play at a higher level.

New France coach Laurent Blanc has spoken out over his confusion at Madjid Bougherra’s decision to turn down a move to Bordeaux last summer to stay at Rangers. The Algerian defender was subject to a near £5 million move last July but turned down the opportunity to switch to the then Ligue 1 champions.

Bougherra, who continues to be subject to reported interest from clubs across Europe, is with Walter Smith’s side as they approach the end of a three-game trip to Australia. But Blanc, who left Bordeaux in the summer to take up the role as Les Bleus coach, says he had to reassess his spending last year after the 27-year-old rejected the opportunity to return to France.

“I know Madjid Bougherra because he failed to come to Bordeaux last season,” Blanc told Le Buteur. “I thought of him before I signed Michael Ciani.

“But for some obscure reason he decided not to come. We had to make do because these are things that can happen sometimes in football.”

When asked whether he felt Bougherra was worthy of playing at a higher level, Blanc responded: “I think so, in France or elsewhere.”

German sides Hamburg and Stuttgart are the most recent clubs to have been attributed with an interest in Bougherra, who moved to Scotland from Charlton Athletic in 2008.

    BOUGHERRA'S RANGERS FUTURE

Bougherra would 'prefer' to stay with Rangers

Rangers' Madjid Bougherra agrees to Bordeaux transfer

Previously of Sheffield Wednesday and Gueugnon, Bougherra has established himself as a fans’ favourite at Ibrox, while also becoming Rangers’ most valuable asset with a string of assured performances in the Champions League.

His stock grew ever higher when he shone for Algeria in the 2010 World Cup, playing on the right-hand side of a three-man defence. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was one of many to compliment Bougherra’s performances, which included a sterling showing in his country’s 0-0 draw with England.

Despite the continued speculation over his future, Bougherra – who has two years left to run on his contract with the SPL club – has persistently said his preference is to stay with Rangers. Speaking in May, the defender said: “I would prefer to stay and win trophies and play in the Champions League with Rangers than go to a club which can't give me these things.”

Is this what you are talking about? I can't see anywhere where he suggest Bordeaux are a bigger club. He's saying that Bordeaux play at a higher level and sadly you can't disagree on that.

    agree :beer1:

    agree :beer1:

  9. hey scotland :D

I think you guys are making this more complicated than is is in reality

if you can get a suitable fee to buy yourselves a much stronger defender and make benefits then sell and be happy if not... everything's alright because he likes the club and never said otherwise... every player in the world has ambitions so why would he be diffirent ?

looking forward for a bigger club dosn't mean he don't like his actual club ...

  10. A few weeks back it was "Bougherra is outstanding" "we must keep him at all costs", now its "fuck right off Bougherra" "I'd accept money for that arsehole Bougherra". WTF has changed ?. Personally I'd love to keep him,

    I love you

  11. As far as I can work out (translating badly from an Algerian fitba site), Bougy was at a place called Douai in France on Sunday.

They had a pop concert there to launch the Algerian World Cup squad. The 1982 team was there, too.

No mention of a "friendly" match but maybe there was a kickabout.

Bougy says he's been over at his home in France resting before the World Cup.

Claims he didn't play in the last game because of a muscular injury.

Says he's staying at Rangers for another two years unless they get "an interesting offer".

My translation: He's offski. No big surprise.

you got it right ^^ he said I'm not off unless a really big team shows up ^^

and also said he's really happy with rangers and have no will to leave

  12. i think you are either lying OR have been told a pile of pish mate

and no, he's not lying, I'm Algerian too

Because you are algerian, that doesnt make him right.

true, but bougherra played with the Algerian players who played the world cup in 1982, right after he signed with Nike ^^ thats an event that every Algerian knows

  13. Nobody knows anything for a fact and a lot of people jump on the "get him to fuck" bandwagon to easily. Bougherra has had a very questionable season, but injuries can't really be avoided. I would be very surprised if Walter is making sure he is ok for the WC. If Bougherra was fit enough to play he would be playing.

Saying that he has treated our club with contempt a number of times this season. Doing it once is one time to many. Bougherra needs to take a long hard look at himself regarding his priorities. He is very passionate about his country, nothing wrong with that. He needs to remember what Walter has done for his career though. Charlton reserves was it?

    very sensible thouths.

Bougherra sure owe Walter, but you need to know that nothing but his skills did bring him at Ibox

Yes Bougherra was signed due to his talent, I am trying to make the point that if Walter hadn't signed him where would he be? Would ha have played in the Champions League? I don't think so. He needs to remember these thing when packing his passport.

yup, he would probebly not play the Cjampions league but who knows, in any rate, I'm sure the big guy know how to thank, how to give back, how to command respect
