I worked down in Gosport for a few months a couple of years ago and there was a 'Rangers' pub there used by the GAPARs.
I just googled there to find details for you, but it seems to have closed down, might be worth contacting the GAPARS though.

Just wondering if there are any Portsmouth based bears use the forum and if they know of any busses that might be running to the Bristol game since its not too far away from Pompey.
I'm living and working down here at the moment and there are three if us going to travel through to Bristol on Saturday.

The alma arms is a Rangers boozer and you will also get the games in a pub called Owens.
It shows all the football, normally has the Scottish games on up the back.

Don't really understand some of the criticism CG is getting. A lot of it is about future speculation which is understandable after CW. What impressed me most about CG is , apart from saving the club ( being the only one to actually back the club ) or the share issue , but the amount of work he's done. In my opinion he's done more work in last few months than previous owners have in the last 20+ years. More importantly he's travelled the world and spoken to fans clubs. Who else ever listened to fans to get their opinion as much in that space of time ?
Which brings me back to my point of future speculation. He's a business man. My opinion is he has to listen to us. It's no good to him to heavily invest and do something the fans have no interest in. Where's the return in that ?
Previous owners have just done what they wanted with no consultation with the fans. CG ,is at least consulting us as to best way to go forward.
My one problem tho is I wish he would stop lumping us with anyone else.

Can't disagree with much of that gmcf. I think part of the problem with green is there quite a lot of rangers fans expecting/wanting green to fail because of what happened with CW.
The reason I say wanting is because some people want to be proven right about him being dodgy IMO.

Am I not allowed to disagree with what Charles green says. I don't the idea of paying higher wages on free agents it reminds me of the days when Alex mcliesh had to do this.
